The original Karen retired some time ago but her insistence on large servings of good food is still working. We stopped in for a late lunch and had Karen's Crummy Chicken - a humorously named but delicious offering. It's a whole real chicken breast, baked and then nicely breaded before a quick dip in the fryer. Smothered in honey mustard... More

Friendly employees. A great place to bring out of town family members for a wholesome environment. Typical food.

I seriously felt as if it was April 4, 1968 (the day Martin Luther King Jr was shot) eating breakfast in this restaurant. I got invited to go for breakfast for work and this was the first time I had ever been here and the last. Don't go here! The do not deserve to get your business. Not only was... More

The service was horrible. They were not busy,it took 45minutes to get our food . The food was ice cold . The roll were so stale I tried to butter it ,it crumbled in my hand. The baked potato was so cold the butter would not melt. It took ordering three times before I found something they had ,they were... More

Came here with a business partner who recommended it. It was good, typical breakfast fare. I ordered an omelet and coffee. It tasted great. Waitress was nice. Place was empty at 8am on a weekday but busy by the time we left. I would return if I am ever in the area.

Went here on the advice of the hotel clerk as being the best in town. If this was the best I'd hate to see the worst. The service was incredibly slow for our group of 5. The waitress never brought us silverware and took forever to get coffee refills. Food was good but nothing to rave over. Probably wouldn't come... More

I stopped by Karen's Cafe for lunch whilst I was staying in Ogden during a 3 week road trip. The food was excellent, so was the service. What was originally planned to be a quick lunch turned into a 2 hour conversation with the super friendly waitress Saschelle who was very welcoming and helpful with regards to recommending good places... Have eaten here many times. Our grandchildren love the place too. Down home kind of food, reasonably priced and generous servings.

Our family (six in all) went for breakfast twice at Karen's and were pleased on both occasions...great food, quick service, helpful staff, reasonable prices. A favorite of locals, Karen's has the bustle and decibel level you would expect at your Thanksgiving table. Try the cinnamon roll or the Big Bubba...mm, mm good!
