We were in Provo for business and the Black Sheep Cafe was recommended to us. It certainly did not disappoint. The service was excellent right from the off. I had the hog jowl tacos and they were amazing. Flavours went very well together and portion size was just about right. Will be heading back if I'm in the area again.

I had been hearing about this restaurant from several sources. I knew that two sisters on a shoestring budget wanted to showcase their Native American heritage and love of local fresh food opened this unique place in 2012. I just wish I had known about it sooner. We drove from Sandy, Utah to Provo which is approximately 45 miles away.... More

I love black sheep cafe! I've been here a few times and it never disappoints. Hip, nicer atmosphere with indoor and outdoor seating. Definitely try the prickly pear lemonade. I recommended the Navajo taco, chimichanga, or a burger. Great service. A nice place for friends, family, or a date

Was in town for business my business partner recommended and it did not disappoint. Off the menu were nachos that had so much flavor and were really messy you needed a fork to eat and were happy to do so. I had the pork enchiladas and they have to be one of the top two I have ever eat and... More

We go to Provo once a month to have lunch with our son at a place none of us have ever been before. Yesterday was that day and I read reviews and found the Black Sheep Cafe. It was a great lunch. My husband and son had the Bleu Cheese Burger with Rosemary Fries and the Black Sheep Burger with... More

The waitress was great and explained her favorites on the menu. I ordered the pork jowl taco ($22) and a salad with a cactus dressing ($9). Both were very tasty and I was full. Nonetheless, I got an order of frybread ($4), which comes with honey butter, and it was terrific and I was more than full.

We went as a family to eat. We had never been here before. It was really good. They serve Southwestern style Native American food. I got a breakfast burrito and other members of our family ordered different versions of Navajo Tacos. We also ordered some Basil Fries and some Sweet Potato fries as an appetizer. You have to try the... More

We checked the place out the night before, and were told that several of the dishes could be made vegetarian, so we returned and enjoyed a delicious dinner of enchiladas. They were carefully flavoured and beautifully presented and the staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely eat here again if we were in town.

Easily the best brunch I've ever had. Visited on a Sunday afternoon, and enjoyed the carnitas hash and biscuits in gravy. Both were superb, and a lovely compliment to one another - the carnitas being hearty but on the lighter side, and the biscuits in gravy rich and spicy. Service was lovely and attentive.
