On a family winter weekend, we visited The Works on our way north and again on our way south. Both times we appreciated freshly-prepared innovative food. Going up we had coffee, tea, delicious fat bagels, and a maple brownie, all excellent. Service was great, and friendly. Coming down, however, my 12-year-old son ordered the "Hey Mac!" that was being promoted... More

Awesome coffee and bagels with great, fast service. "The Works" bagel with everything and cream cheese was our favorite!

First time in Brattleboro in a while and needed a quick lunch. Not a lot of parking on Main St., but parked around the corner. Nice place, wide open, order and pick up and bus your own. Had a 1/2 Thai chicken panini with a cup of good clam chowder and a ham and cheddar panini. Definitely worth a stop.

The works is rather expensive, but very good food, and they have a large selection of sandwiches, bagels, soups, and salads that are good for breakfast of lunch.

What a nice place to hang out for an hour or two and enjoy some great coffee. Good wifi and comfortable seating. Much nicer than a Starbucks and much more authentic.

I've been here a few times for a quick bite while shopping in Brattleboro. They have great smoothies and brownies and bagel things. It's like a deli with sit down - I wouldn't call it a bonafide restaurant.

On a busy Sunday morning during prime tourist weekend, The Works successfully gets your breakfast ready in a timely way! Although crowded, tables kept clean , coffee and tea avsilable in this quality self serve restaurant. Food prepared quickly and served hot.

Back in Brattleboro for an all too infrequent visit. We stopped for lunch at The Works on the basis of good TA reviews, an inviting menu board and a comfortable feeling about the place. Turns out it was a good choice. The staff people were welcoming, congenial, pleasant. The food options were interesting and the prices were right. Nice mix... More

Dear SHB05403, Thank you so much for giving us a try!! We work really hard to create a welcoming atmosphere and offer a great menu. Did you know that our bread is baked fresh with unbleached and unbromated flour? And we source our turkey from a farm committed to cage free, antibiotic free, vegetarian diet, humane handling practices. We think... More
