We have stopped here on both UVM visits and always get a dozen to go, the bagels are delicious and the atmosphere is welcoming. Make this a stop when in town.
This place makes great montreal style bagels, that goes without saying! But it's also a really cute neighborhood spot. They make the bagels right inside the café and you can see them cooking in the wood stove.
I love bagels, and my wife (born & raised in Vt) and I have enjoyed going to Myers Bagels since I found it in 2011. Authentic with a huge brick oven right in sight, you can choose your bagels right from the oven. Though wonderfully oven warmed in winter, we found the seating area inside not too hot in summer... Never had a Montreal-style bagel before... what a treat! We had two bagel sandwiches - a Rosemary/sea salt and a Sesame/sunflower seed - both with lox, cream cheese, capers, tomatoes and red onions. Yum! Too bad I can't get these in SW Florida...
They have an amazing selection of bagels that are freshly made in the restaurant. They also have an good selection of gluten-free bagels which is very hard to find. Nothing better than having a breakfast sandwich made from your choice of bagel :)
Real good local Montreal bagel style offerings. They offer every kind of bagel you need, breakfast sandwiches, plus a nice lunch menu. They have been named ones of Vermont's best bagels. All the awards and accolades are true, get you some!
I love this place. It's kind of a local secret. I'm sure there are lots of visitors who would love to find it! Be brave and make it a destination. You can watch your bagels being made and they are excellent. Great people too. And great prices. The place is funky and near some other unique places you'll want to... More
We were looking for a quick take and go breakfast on our way out of town. Although, Myer's is off the beaten path we found it in our round about way. This is real Vermont, friendly with no fuss. Bagels looked so terrific that we brought home a few dozen and are still eating them every Sunday from the freezer!
I was treated to a breakfast sandwich and coffee today and treat it was! The egg was perfectly fried so the yolk broke with the first bite to be absorbed by the everything bagel surrounding it. The sausage and cheese completed the trifecta of the fillings. The ambience is exactly what you hope for in this hidden gem.
