The service and ambiance we recently experienced at Hen Of The Wood were nothing short of outstanding, however the food was extraordinary. The Rabbit Liver Pâté had a mild, yet succulent taste and was especially creamy to the tongue. Accompanied with wood grilled toast, whole...More

We selected this restaurant for our only meal in Burlington because of its high ratings but I wasn't impressed. The main dishes on the menu are so unusual and outside my comfort zone (hake, rabbit, lamb, duck) that I ordered from the appetizer menu instead....More

I recently was planning a trip to Burlington, Vermont. Two things I wanted to do was, stay on Lake Champlain and eat some local Vermont food. So I set out on this mission. Clearly nailing it I stayed right down the street at the Courtyard...More

We wandered in late after a long ride looking for an impromptu date night dinner. And the stars aligned -- this is another of the high end restaurants where the starters shine more than the entrees, and the specials were even better than their menu...More
