This is a place to go with a large group. There are may Thai options and plenty of seating. The food is very good but the atmosphere is lacking. Service was OK. Food was worth having again.

We dined here last night as two couples (one from out of town). This restaurant gets a rating of 4 due to its great location at the bottom of pedestrian Church Street. It also has a dining room right at street level with a lift...More

We were a large group of hungry friends who decided to try out Thai Dishes. The staff quickly rearranged an area of the restaurant to accommodate us. A larger selection of drinks and a comprehensive menu gave each of us lots to choose from! The...More

Been here once before, food was fair. This time it was not good. I don't want to get into specifics, I am not a tough critic on restaurants. I will not eat here again.

Staff were very kind and service was good. But unfortunately, they were the worst Thai meal we've ever had. The taste was strange. The cook must not be Thai.

Always consistent at Thai dishes. Monday or Saturday, service is always great and food delicious. Pad Thai medium spice is best option!

The nearby Single Pebble couldn't seat us for Sunday dim-sum, so we walked a short distance to try Thai Dishes version of dim-sum. And we are glad we did! There were twelve or so dim-sum dishes to choose from, mostly dumplings, a few other misc....More

I normally don't choose Thai, but a friend and I dined 4 nights ago, I was very pleased with their menu. My Thai seared salmon special was crispy and exotically seasoned, a cup of starter soup was sooo good but I can't remember its name!...More

Got a quick dinner here one night after the wait was too long at a neighboring restaurant. I love Thai food and this place was terrible. The food was so Americanized that it barely had any flavor left. I sent back two dishes before finally...More

We dine out a lot and like Thai food. Went to Thai Dishes because of our 2 for 1 restaurant. We had martini's made by our waiter Mackenzie and they were fantastic at $8 each. My wife had the Pla Salmon Dtakrai (Lemongrass Salmon) Grilled...More

Description
Claire and Art Jilandharn own and run two much-loved Thai restaurants in Vermont - Montpelier's Royal Orchid Thai and Middlebury's Sabai Sabai Thai Cuisine - and now they have set roots down in Burlington! The Stir-Fried Rice with Pineapple is an incredible plate with tropical flavor. Jasmine rice is stir fried with egg, cashews, raisins, scallions, vegetables, fresh pineapple, and a skewer of perfectly tender chicken and shrimp. The Spicy Seafood dish has been a bestseller since the restaurant opened its doors. A bed of sauteed peppers and onions holds a combination of sweet seafood - mussels, shrimp, and scallops marinated in chili paste, all with a spicy broth ladled over top. Try your best to save room for dessert - the creamy, coconut-milk marinated Sticky Rice dishes are the perfect end to a Thai Dishes meal!
