What an extensive menu. The food is classic diner fare with some surprises (soup of the day). The staff knows the menu and gets food our quickly. The interior of the diner is beautifully maintained.

We've eaten at Birdseye for decades, and they've had some highs and lows, depending on who the cook is and wait staff efficiency. But we went on last Saturday and it was great! Hard to beat their onion rings, chicken Caesar salad, and chocolate cake with peanut butter frosting. Do not miss their hot cocoa with real whipped cream! Yummmmmy!

The Birdseye doesn't always serve the classic diner food. They serve a really good homemade meatloaf and also a good porkchop dinner. We have been eating dinner here on and off for about 12yrs.Classic diner interior small booths and counter seating.Great place for a small Vermont town.

Nothing fancy but the food was good and inexpensive. Stopped in for breakfast on our way to Saratoga to go shopping. Fast, excellent service. Loved the employees, very friendly. Can't go wrong for quick, inexpensive diner food. Loved the home fries.

We have been going to this diner for breakfast for several years now and we have always had great food with great service. The old diner car has been maintained in pristine condition too.

Stopped here to grab lunch on our way through Vermont. I've never ate at an old fashioned diner and it was a great experience. Our waitress was friendly. Such a cute little town. I would stop here again!

I can't say enough for the amazing breakfast. Our family was on the way home after a great week at the lake and we were so hungry. Good thing because the portions of food are ginormous! It took a little time for our food to come out, actually a good sign as everything is made to order. Everything from eggs... More

I arrived late to join a group prior to attending a concert at Castleton University. I ordered the vegetable bean soup so I would not hold up the group. The soup was very nutritious and filling and good. It reminded me of Italian Tuscan soup, Ribolita.
