The Scottish schtick is fun but it's mainly a decent Pub which the area sorely needs. I have been there often and liked it each time. Even when getting there at almost kitchen closing they are very accomadating.

MacLaomainn's is a small and friendly pub with a nice selection of beers I hadn't seen elsewhere and good food. I had the steak stew and the meat was tender and flavorful. Nothing fancy when it comes to vegetables. Delicious mashed potatoes and peas. Bread pudding for dessert. I'm not a fan of bread pudding but this one was great.... More

We loved this place. We sat in the pub which was truly adorable, cozy and nicely lit. They even had the bar television set to rugby and I thought it really added to the atmosphere. The beer on tap selection was very good (about 10), with some hard to find selections and the prices were pretty reasonable. We ordered bacon... More

This Pub is located in the center of Chester Vermont a quintessential New England town. It is a great place to stop after a day of skiing or as a stop on your way into town. I highly recommend Old engine oil beer and the fish pie but everything is good

Good service. Not a lot of non meat options. Have been here for dinner which was very good. Larger menu for dinner. Small dining area but staff goes out of their way to fit you in. Bar seating in dining room as well.

Classic Scottish food and a perfect selection of beers. I personally loved the ipa, but you can't go wrong with the classic belhaven beers. The steak pie stew has also inspired me to cook more stews at home. Also, they make a pretty awesome mashed potatoes. If you know anything about me, I always love mashed potatoes. If you're in...
