This is as italian as chef boy r dee in a can. If you have never had italian food, you may not want to go here and ruin your taste for it. I could not find anything that I liked there...oh...the water was good.

I thought it was a joke at first. The place outside looks very rundown and we were brought two menus printed on paper bags. The minimum price for a pasta dish was around $16, which did not fit with the atmosphere. The food was good, but not even close to worth the price. Candles on the tables were a nice... More

I can now understand why some people say this is the best Italian food that they have ever had. It is because they have never had real italian food before. Even after the first bite of a pasta dish, I did not believe how bad It was until I had a second bite to confirm it. At that point, I... More

After a day on the slopes, the food hits the spot. Specializes in pasta dishes. Not too much variety, which is fine since they do it well. Building is nothing fancy, but that is OK, we are in Vermont, not a fake Disney type region. Very kid friendly.

If your looking for great Italian food this is the place in Central Vermont. I regularly dine there (at least once a week) and everything is homemade (salad dressing, soups, desserts, sauces, meatballs, and sausage). We were so impressed by the quality of the food and the service we held the rehearsal dinner for our wedding there. Let Pasta Pete... More

I was just at the Pasta Pot 2 weeks ago and and can't figure out where people are saying this is the best food. There was nothing fresh about it and how can a restaurant known for their fabulous pizza....run out of dough???? So not impressed but have passed it a million times and read the positive reviews...had to try... More

The good - the service was excellent. The friendly wait staff works hard and are very attentive. The bad - everything else. From the dirty carpeting, unpleasant stale food odors, small portions and overpriced menu, the Pasta Pot may have been good back in the day but those days are long long gone. I can't believe they actually classify this... More

Pasta Pot business for over thirty years, and for good reason. They have quality food and reasonable prices. I hope all of you ignore the few negative posts from the rude and unreasonable posts of the "impossible to please" minority.
