We were in Stowe for almost a week, so we ate at many different restaurants. The Roost was by far the best place we ate. The falafel was AMAZING!! Nice vegetarian options !All delicious.

The Topnotch is marketed as a spa retreat, but The Roost is the only dining option for mid-day, and lower-fat and lower-sugar choices are not available. I thought I was doing well by ordering the tandoori chicken, but it came on a bun with fries. It was also dried out. Disappointing.

Just to sum up quick: - When we ate in the restaurant, food took a little long to get to us, but the meal was really good. - When we ordered room service, the fries and things that need to be eaten quick were pretty terrible. So make sure you get the food quickly before it gets too stale.

Great setting with good selection of draft beers and a fun, eclectic menu with excellent burgers, and tandoori chicken, and other options. Relaxing for families abd couples.

The Roost was half full on a recent visit-everyone else was probably skiing. We had the sliders and the Tandoori Chicken, both good, and glasses of good red and white wine. The best part of the meal was our waiter, Doug, who went out of his way to fetch cappuccinos and chocolate chip cookies which he then warmed up at... More

I liked the Roost quite a bit. They have live music for apres ski and they have one of those shuffle boards which are my favorite bar game. The menu is solid and the decor is pretty cool. Drinks are a little on the expensive side, but other than that this place is great!

Walked into The Roost on Saturday night and it was as busy as I have ever seen it with satisfied skiers looking for a warm fire and a good drink. We were told it would be a 20 minute wait for dinner. About an hour later we were seated. However, Nick M. despite being buried in customers was alert to... More

We stopped by for lunch at The Roost, located by the lobby at the Top Notch resort. The space is beautiful and modern; there is a cozy fireplace and large windows that overlook the nearby slopes. Our server, Crystal, was wonderful - attentive and friendly - and she made great suggestions for both food and the surrounding area. Husband had... More

Contemporary and classic, entirely reimagined. A modern lobby bar and restaurant, where definitive fare has a decidedly Vermont twist. A comfortable, casual space that brings the outdoors in, and the indoors out. The Roost is a place to meet up and hang out. Where you can grab a seat, a bite, and a game at our Shuffleboard Dining Bar, or gather in our patio living room - under a pergola, near a fire pit, bocce court, and a reflecting pool. Or, lounge on oversized couches while you sample one of our Chef's nibbles, the perfect plates to go with a craft draft beer or creative cocktail. Food served until 10:00 PM.
