Such a great spot to have a laid back dinner with friends and family! The staff and food were wonderful! We will be back soon! For anyone in need of a bed and breakfast or other sleeping accommodations, do not stay at the Mad River Barn, Heather, the owner, is a horror to deal with.. Look for another place.

Fun hole-in-the-wall mexican joint. We stopped by with a group of friends after skiing. The Big Daddy Fatty was great! Reasonable priced and good variety. A must try.

Got the smoked pork tacos with kimchi and cilantro. Very good. There's a self-service area to get your own sauces, but could only try 2 hot ones cause the rest of the squeeze bottles were all plugged up. Margarita was good. Jerk wings were tiny and way over cooked. Had to clean off our own picnic table. Place was filled... More

Really great tacos to fill up on after a day on the slopes! Great beer selection, laid back atmosphere, and good prices. I do wish the tacos came with a side, we ordered guacamole which was delicious!

We stopped here after a day of skiing at Sugarbush. This place is tiny and the line up can look daunting but go for it! The food is fresh, authentic and made by hand. They have a terrific craft beer line-up. I can't wait to go back! Enjoy!

Yummy! Great beer selection. Go with the specials of the day. Plates were not too full...suggest requesting nachos...or side dishes.

The place is small and has a rustic atmosphere. It was my first time trying a taco, so, I am happy that it was good. The pork was tender, but I wish it had spent more time on the grill. The veggies tasted fresh and crunchy. I would have preferred "hierba buena" instead of coriander, but, whatever. Overall, a dish... More

The Mad Taco is small and rustic. The children in the family really like it. We went for dinner and ordered a number of different dishes which we shared. The children got the child's quesidellias. The have squeeze tubes of sauces with names and numbers for degrees of hotness. They have a good selection of local beers on tap.

My son really loves this place - going there after skiing at Sugarbush. It's quirky, fun and serves interesting tasty food - not just tacos; also burritos and other Mexican type food. But, it has a distinct West Coast flavor - not very Mexican - but very tasty and large portions with spicy sauces. You really shouldn't miss going there.
