My brother live in Waitsfield and he ordered take out from this place. The food is amazing. Best tacos I have ever eaten in my life. People are very friendly and the service is great. This place is very busy. It is worth waiting in line to get your food. So if ever you are in Waitsfield, Vermont go try this... More

First outing with our friends in Vermont. The fish tacos were so so good! Such a cool little place tucked in by the grocery store. Husband loved the beer. Will go back for sure!

I will warn you before you go, this is not your typical restaurant. You place your order at a window where you first walk in the main entrance, then go sit down and they bring you your order. You get your own silverware, and non-alcoholic drinks. There are two large water jugs with cups if you want water for free.... More

This place has an interesting vibe. The menu isn't too complicated, and they offer a variety of sauces to add to your meal. We enjoyed our visit.

We chose to go for dinner but I admit it was a bit dive-y for me. Food was very good and employees were really, really nice. It was not hopping the night we were there, a Saturday, but we heard it can get crazy busy so be prepared. We would go again. Yet not for dinner, more so for afternoon... More

Outside the front door is a smoker chugging away; they smoke all their own meats! Delicious pork and chicken... We are serious avocado lovers and rated Mad Taco's guacamole among the best we've tasted, (or made)...Their home made chips were incredible and unique..Our top three dishes, (rated from our one experience), The smoked pork, kimchi and cilantro...My wife and I... Delicious tacos, cool atmosphere - makes you want to go back to college and kick the hackeysack around. Nothing fancy just good guac and tacos. I had the squash quesadilla was good. Chips are fun they are huge. Took an obscene amount of time for us to get our food.

Terrible tacos at this place! I live in the south east part of Texas so maybe that's why I think it's terrible

It's in the heart of the Vermont local craft brews scene just 15 miles south of Waterbury. The place is in a plain old shopping center. You would pass it by and never know it. DON"T. The tacos are great! Yes they're a little pricey but two is definitely enough for me. The place feels like a locals place because... More

We definitely didn't go to Vermont for tacos, but Mad Taco was a pleasant surprise. They have a great menu and the food is excellent.
