Took family.of 15 (kids and grandkids). Food and service were fine. Now complaints at all. Especially.nice seated by a warm fire on.a snowy night.

Old cozy inn atmosphere. Drinks were good, service was slow, food was fine. Nice presentation but nothing to rave about.

Had dinner here with my husband. Had not been at the tavern since they renovated. Looks fresh and very appealing. The food has always been good here. We enjoyed a burger and a chicken salad with some wine.

Went here as a party of 6. Bartender was nice and pretty attentive. The menu was extremely limited. There actually was a whole page missing on all our menus so not sure the story behind that. The pages that were filled with available choices was limited to about 5 entrees. The tenderloin of beef was very good and tender. The... More

Beer battered, super fresh and crazy delicious, I highly recommend them! They also make a mean apple crumble for dessert.

A friend and I stopped in here for a mid-week dinner while vacationing in Vermont. He had been before and knew the food was dependable. This was my first time here. We arrived at about 8:30 (30 minutes before they stopped serving), and had hoped to sit in the dining room, but it had been closed for late seating, so... More

After a long day of hiking my SO and I stopped in for a quick dinner, opting for the wings and burger. Great good and service. Also the live musician was excellent. He sang an acoustic version of a wide range of hits from the last 40 year.

They sat us in the bar area but that did not cause any issues. The bar crowd was not disruptive and dinner was excellent. My wife and I both ordered the beef tenderloin tips (could have been medallions). We both enjoyed it very much. It was cooked the way we asked and the balsamic sauce was perfect. I had the... More

Friendly service, very entertaining bartender. Stopped by for a light dinner on a Sunday night. The tomato bisque soup was the best! I had an appetizer for dinner, everyone else had burgers and sandwiches, all was well prepared and presented. The place itself has rustic charm, lots of wood beams and subdued lighting. Nice for a romantic dinner.

We have visited Southern VT for many years, but never had the opportunity to try this establishment. Nice dinner, had drinks at the bar afterwards and everyone was very friendly. Somewhat busy for a Sunday night in September. Good to see
