We were up over the holiday week between Christmas and New Years. We did not have a reservation, but the two of us gave it a try anyway. After standing room only in the bar for 1/2 hour, we found two chairs at the bar. We were able to order food there as we would never have been seated in... More

New ownership and interior decor is updated and has a crisper ambiance. Greeted immediately and made to feel welcome. Sat at bar for cocktails and Bartender Will is true professional. Appetizers of escargot and shrimp with stuffed shrimp and ravioli special as main course. Nicely prepared and tasty with sides of fresh beans, rice and mashed sweet potatoes. Enough for... More

Love to come here, great bar area, great bartender (Judy) and just off the beaten path. We were leaving the Grand Summit and taking the back road to town where we were going to kind of pub crawl and look for good food....(Went to Two Tannery the night before and it was closed so we actually thought it was closed... My children and I ate here and we first loved the warm welcome, the ambiance, pictures and historical aspects of the restaurant and then there was the food. What we enjoyed most was the delicious deserts. The entire experience was darling and we will return. To satisfy pre-teens and teens can be tricky at one restaurant. This restaurant has a... More

A party over six on Labor Day Weekend can be an equation for disaster, but had a splendid meal. Restaurant has a number of rooms, so always seems quite intimate. Staff is attentive and helpful. Food is great. Extensive menu plus nightly specials, making choice difficult...appetizers were excellent including the soup, and a superior duck pate. Entrees were equally well prepared.... More

My spouse and I were attending the 22nd Beer Fest at Mount Snow, in the evening we thought to find a decent restaurant, on Yelp chose this place seemed pretty neat for the history and close distance from our lodging. When we arrived, we waited for the hostess for 7-10 mins (which allowed us to look at the history of... More

A very comfortable country atmosphere. Summer salad (think they called it Summer Blue) was excellent and the duck was a very nice size and delicious. Service was friendly and efficient. Could go to upgrade the selection of their chardonnay by the glass. Planning to be back in the Winter and will definitely be back.

The ambiance, food, and service at this restaurant are consistently excellent. The bartender and many of the waitresses have worked here a very long time, and it shows,in their professionalism and their ability to take care of all patrons at all times, like a well-orchestrated dance! The duck, veal, and trout are all excellent, and the desserts are amazing. It's... More

We had an excellent dinner tonight. Escargot was tender and delicious. Highly recommend the Tannery trio, and the Vermonter. Don't miss the coffee toffee pie for dessert. Service was very good and attentive. We will return again for our next visit.

The baked cheddar appetizer was to die for. I never thought that apple, ham and cheddar cheese would be good together but this place made it amazing. Great service great food. Scenic dining room.
