While traveling for Thanksgiving holiday we stopped for breakfast at Crossroads Cafe. We were welcomed immediately and shown to our table. The waitstaff was friendly and efficient. I had scrambled eggs with homemade hash and homemade wheat toast. The hash had a perfect crisp on it and was very flavorful. My mom had 2 eggs over easy which were cooked... More

Our go to place for breakfast in the area. Pancakes were excellent, as are the homemade muffins. Big portions and good coffee. Very nice staff. Look forward to stopping when traveling in the area.

Used to be my favorite diner around. The staff are not very friendly. The prices have increased. I will compliment how quick the service is!

One of the better breakfast spots in town for homemade goodies! Homemade toast, good friendly service, Very busy place, but worth any wait. Although they are pretty good at getting you seated quickly.

The decor is older with some updates. The floor is worn and stained, but free of food pieces and dirt. The service was quick pleasant, and polite. The diner salad was fresh, crisp and garnished nicely. The garlic bread was very good. My husband had the lasagna he said it was good, he had no complaints. I had the broccoli,... More

Food was barely ok. Hash browns were not browned at all, just looked and tasted like chopped boiled potatoes. Omelet was nothing special. My toast was so burnt on one side it was inedible. It was the buttered side, so kitchen staff saw that but still sent it out. I would have asked for it to be replaced if our... More

We had heard about this place for breakfast for quite a long time and decided to drive the 30 miles to try it out. I hesitated at the door as the entranceway was very dirty with paint peeling but still we decided to try the food. The four of us went in and waited to be seated. All the staff... More

I expected typical diner food in this quick lunch stop. But what I got was an excellent cobb salad and 2 plates of sweet potato fries, the cook made extra. I was so full from my salad I could barely eat any fries and I was full even through dinner that night! I was very happy with that stop!

This is a local diner, it has been our go-to for Sunday morning breakfast. This is one of three (cross roads, the fort and Lou's) best breakfast places in the upper valley. This is less of the college student feel and more the local diner.
