Food was great here but service was quite poor. Our meal took two hours and thirty six minutes and we were trying to move it along. Our waitress indicated there were only two waitresses working so the root cause would seem to be the lack of help. Nonetheless, our service was far from flawless when we were luck enough to... More

We went to dinner for Valentines Day at the White House Tavern. All of the food was terrific, we each had a glass of wine with an appetizer of a deconstructed Caesar salad and we both ordered the duck. The duck fell off the bone and the sauce was wonderful. We shared a dessert of beignet and an order of... More

Apparently I can eat here twice a day! We live nearby and this is our go-to place for just ourselves or company. The sushi is the best I have ever had and the rest of the menu is great farm to table. Fabulous bar with incredible craft cocktails. And if you have any problems just ask for Jess or Matt... More

When we first entered the dining room, I was worried that the place was too upscale to be visiting with my two young kids, but the staff was very friendly and accommodating to them. They had a kids menu and brought crayons. It is a very pretty restaurant and the food was great. Only comment would be that the timing... More

Great bartender named John Mark steered us toward delicious dinners. Pigs' ears and a short ribs burger for spouse and a tuna burger for me. Loss if a star for including a pickle when specifically directed not to. This loss mitigated by manager's gracious apology. Classic Vt setting and service.

We drove past this wonderful old inn and had to turn around and drop in for lunch. The sunken bar offers a great cocktail with a fabulous view. The burgers are fabulous!
