Rude waiter, terrible food. Never been to a worse restaurant, on top of all of this the manager refused to make any remedies for the situation. Just terrible

We have been (VT) season ticket holders for 20+ years, and have been to many of the places in the great town of Blacksburg... We came here EVERY game, and had the usual shrimp and grits.... The service folks were attentive, friendly, and seemed to appreciate our patronage. We also had one of the great selection of craft beers on... More

Stood at entrance for a while and no one came to help us. We left and tried somewhere else but they had no room. We went back to Poor Billy's since we saw open tables. No host again but someone came shortly. They sat us and we waited a minimum of 15 minutes to be acknowledged. Finally stopped an employee... More

Poor Billy's is the Oasis for those of us 'veteran' Hokie fans who want a decent meal, a GREAT, cold IPA beer ( and other selections) and wide screen TVs - It's cool in the summer, early season, and warm and dry when we need that as well.. Not too crowded as the college kids tend to gather upstairs at... More

Not much variety on the menu. Prices where more expensive than I expected. I wasn't impressed with the lobster sliders. The gruyere and crab dip was delicious, though. I also enjoyed the tempura zucchini.

We went to Poor Billys while visiting our daughter, it is usually one of our go tos but we really do not like the menu change. The menu is much smaller and does not offer salads at all, none. They also did not offer us bread at all. I had the salmon and it was good but would have possibly... More

Lets start at the bar bar! Husband and wife team are incredibly welcoming. Warm greeting and very friendly. Dinner.....Top notch!!!!!! Best pork chop I have had at a restaurant. Oysters tender and fresh. My date loved her sushi. Service was once again top notch. An incredible value, portions above par. The best place in Blacksburg! I will keep coming back.... More

Seafood entrees are excellent. That said, prices have increased substantially over past year. Dinner with one appetizer, entree salads and drinks was $150.00. A bit pricey for blacksburg- but very good!

Went on a Tuesday while in town for the engineering expo and it was as good as it was 10 years ago. Half price sushi, $2 beers, and the best shecrab soup ever. Never disappointed.

I am disappointed. The food, at least what we had, was at the level of a fast food pace with the price of a medium range restaurant (about 50$ each for a soup and an entree). Large plates, ingredients just cooked and assembled together, presented without style and care. Sorry for being so negative, perhaps the day we went was... More
