The Cacker Barrell in Bristol is one of the better ones I have been to. Their servers were great and being on top of the hill, you really got a chance to enjoy the views of the surrounding area.

The food is always good, reasonably priced and the servers, managers, and "store help" are always friendly. We were there a few days before Christmas with our grandchildren, and "Santa" stopped by for dinner with his wife. The kids loved it! And several of the waitresses got their picture made with him. What fun!
Love Cracker Barrel for the food, courteous staff, atmosphere, and store. Always stop at one anywhere near our location when traveling.
One could argue that all Cracker Barrels are good and you would be correct. But this one caught my eye because it was next to my hotel (how could you miss it!). Convenient and not crowded (usually Cracker Barrels have ridiculous wait-lines). Overall 5 stars.
I've eaten here several times on my travels to Bristol. Not only is the food and service good but the view is awesome. Standing in the parking lot you can look down at I81 and see the mountains. Great dining experience.
We met family for breakfast 28 of us. They seated us in 15 minutes. Got our order and ate in 1 hour total time. Food was hot and very good.
My wife and I had supper at this restaurant recently. It was conveniently located and we know we can depend on getting good food and good service. We do not expect gourmet fare at Cracker Barrel but we are always pleased to see old favorites which are served quickly, arrive hot, and taste good.
We ate here the morning of our Virginia Creeper ride! It was early and the service was fabulous and of course the breakfast was excellent! My grandchildren LOVE Cracker Barrel!
