Food was great, much better than the mexican food places I'm used to. The food wasn't generic, great flavors, and they served pupusas which I was thrilled with. This is our new go to place for mexican food!!!

This appears to be a family run restaurant. Service was excellent, the food was very good, large portions. The staff is very friendly and responsive. I have eaten several times and never been disappointed. Best Mexican food in the area.

Casual, friendly neighborhood gem. Our go to spot for weekend breakfast. Service is fast and efficient. Both Tex-Mex and American options for breakfast. Mama's Special burrito is. my favorite, but the Chorizo burrito is a close second. My only complaint is the lint the napkins leave on dark clothing.

First time in the res taurant, and was disappointed with the bland food. Chips were crisp but salsa was nothing special. Steak fajitas were under seasoned and totally unremarkable. Wait staff was attentive and restaurant was full of people, just don't expect a memorable meal.

I am bias, I love Mexican food. I grew up in southern California so it is really in my blood. This place was great. The food was fresh and delicious with really generous portion sizes. You know you are in a good place when you sit down and get good chips and salsa, none of this watered down salsa. The... More

My wife and I are theater goers, having an annual subscription to First Stage in Tysons Corner. If you have not been, you MUST! We typically dine somewhere in Tysons since there are so many great places around the theater. However, my wife and I decided to go closer to home and find something off the normal path. Thus, we... Love everything on the menu. We always get the mixed fajitas- they are so tasty. The combo dinners are really good too. Sangria has a nice taste and can't go wrong with the Dos Xs options. Be sure to try the plantains. All staff is great- especially Erika.

El Pueblo is a good Mexican restaurant offering a solid menu of tasty selections from that cuisine. It is not Spanish! The only dish offered from Spain is paella, which we did not have. The rest of the menu is Mexican with the exception of papusas, presumably because the owner is from El Salvador. This means that only two menu... More

We stopped in for a late dinner, the dining room was deserted and we were seated promptly. Maria took our drink orders and we were on our way. Our tacos, and Chili Rellenos arrived piping hot. No complaints all around. Good service and nice people.

We tried this on a whim and i must say we weren't disappointed! The dining area is very small, be prepared to sit really close to the people dining next to you!! But the food is amazing! The service was quick and the server was very knowledgeable on what was on the menu.
