We hadn't been here in several years - not for lack of trying. It's very popular and doesn't take reservation. A busy, noisy place which we like. Could be in Paris. The salads, apps and entrees were excellent. I particularly loved the catfish rissotto. Will go back just for that. Found a great white wine from slopes of Mt Etna... More

The food was great -- lovely steak and polenta fries, excellent salad, delicious rockfish. Really good. The booth -- terrible. Hard and too upright. Crowded feeling for a party of four. The waitstaff was at first attentive--but the minute food was delivered, their attention was elsewhere.

I met friends here and we shared great food -- the bread and spreads are excellent, and the rest of the food is, too.

We had a great meal here last week, it was my second visit and just as good as the first . The menu has some real treats, the unassuming dining area relaxes, and the food exceeds its humble surroundings by leaps and bounds. the bizou namesake cocktail was refreshing and a lot of fun: herbal gin w a grapefruit hibiscus... I was strolling in the promenade looking for a place to eat my dinner when I saw this very inconspicuous one small door entrance with a long waiting cue in front of the kitchen The location is very famous and popular and The menu is somewhat short The portion of my side salad was smaller than usual My salmon was... My husband and I went for dinner as it was recommended. They seat you at the back of the restaurant and it's rather an old building. Bread is not free here, they charge about $2 for the basket and it was okay. I ordered the rockfish. I was disappointed to find that it was a very small portion of fish... More

My husband and are on trip with our son to see colleges. We had a late lunch and we did not think we were hungry. We found Bizou's menu and we liked the items. We arrived and found their menu did not include what we were looking to enjoy. Bizou updates their menu very frequently. Very quickly our server directed... More

Needed a place close to Omni hotel and decided to give Bizou a shot. So happy we did! (Some people say it needs a makeover and at first I felt a little put off by appearance but that quickly changed and we LOVED it.) Place was busy but we never felt ignored. Waiter was phenomenal. He took the time to... More

This was my second time at Bizou and the food is amazing. Fresh, local ingredients in creative takes on traditional dishes. The best chicken pot pie I've ever tasted, with a flaky crust, light cream sauce, and crunchy vegetables. In general Bizou does wonderfully with veggies - for example, a winter squash stuffed with other veggies and spices. They always... More

Bizou was the perfect venue for our gathering of friends: in a perfect location for pre/post dinner strolls on the pedestrian street, excellent choices for our various eating styles. The option of ordering half portions allowed us to enjoy a variety of their offerings, which included vegetarian items that didn't seem like an afterthought, but also a legendary meatloaf.
