Pollard's has been in this area since the 60's. They have always provided a good chicken dinner and each of theirmany locations always seem to have the same delicious fried chicken. I have eaten in several of their locations, even some no longer there! Great Bridge, College Park, Great Neck Road are 3 that come to mind quickly. I purchase... More

We have been going to Pollards for many years. Love the chicken tenders and tender bites. Great lunch deals.

After several excellent reviews, we were looking forward to some really great fried chicken and trimmings -- not so! The chicken batter was not very crispy, too greasy, and the chicken itself was bland. The mashed potatoes must have come from powered mix and the gravy must have been canned. Ugh! Only the mixed greens measured up to fresh and... More

This is the first time we visited this Pollard's and after waiting nearly an hour for chicken we had to stop back in and correct the order. Hopefully they work on team organization and improving food preparation time. Food is still good but not worth the wait and frustration.

If you like old school southern fried chicken theirs is very good. My favorite is their vinegar based BBQ. It is the absolute best. You can buy it by the pound at take out. If you are looking for gourmet dining this is not it but it is good old school southern cooking.

We use to go to Pollard's frequently. Their fried chicken is still some of the best I've ever had. However, on our most recent visit we noticed that the two teenagers working at the counter had the most blah personalities. They came across as down right rude. They stood around waiting for customers. Meanwhile, the restaurant was dirty, and sticky,... More

I had not been to Pollards in a while so decided to stop in for lunch. I ordered a two piece chicken with Mac and cheese and okra. The sides and the puff were good but the chicken was not the Pollards I remember. The chicken was dry and the skin crumbled when you touched it. The skin was almost... More

It's been well over a year since we ate at Pollard's, not because we don't love it, but because our son was diagnosed with gluten/wheat allergy, so we don't eat at places where he can't order what he wants. Today, with him at a birthday party, we decided to swing by for lunch. What a great decision! Our chicken was... More
