Foti's has good food, maybe even great. They have excellent service. But it has a pretense in the atmosphere that will make your pinkie extend and stay out when you eat here. It's the kind of place where the food is really good, the portions really small, and the airs very high. I go here when taken, it's not a... More

3 friends just met for lunch and had a wonderful time. It was weekday quiet, and we could talk without raising our voices. The hostess and waiter were terrific, the meals we had were all delicious, and no one rushed us. I had risotto and mushroom cakes, a special that was indeed special. I'm taking the whole family in a... More

Boyfriend and I had their Foti's burger and split a bowl of fries. Also had one of their IPA's - Village Green Double IPA, Pale Fire Brewery in Harrisonburg. The burger was one of the best I've had in a LOOOONG time! Sounded a little odd dipped in Worcestershire sauce, but the combination of the garlic mayo and the sauce... More

This was our third dining experience at Foti's, having eaten there in 2009 and 2012 at the old location down the street. We enjoyed the food and service immensely then, and were looking forward to returning with some friends during a getaway wine weekend. To get right to the point: the food this time was marginal, the service poor, and... More

We live on the East Coast between Philadelphia and Baltimore, therefore meals such as what we had at Foti's would cost double. I have to say that was our first positive and then the amazing service we had from our server, David. Food was presented well and just the right amount.

We had a group of 8 people. They were very efficient in upholding our reservation and serving us all at once. We were impressed with the service. The food was good. My husband had the duck confit for an appetizer and it was truly delicious. It was large, though. More of a small plate than an appetizer. I ordered the... More

We really enjoyed the Greek nachos. We love Greek food and had never had Greek nachos before and Foti's version was delicious. Our waiter was very friendly and gave us some interesting facts about the town of Culpeper. We will visit here again if we are ever in the area.

, I just got back from a little trip and wanted to mention a restaurant I visited and wanted to warn you to stay away from it. It is called "Foti's" in Culpeper Virginia. My wife and I stopped in for lunch. We ordered the Cast Iron Seared Trout over ancient grains and sautéed vegetables, with a cardamom, citrus and... More

Every time we are in Culpepper we stop here for lunch. We've never been disappointed. Can't say enough about the Frog Legs. It's served in a Buffalo sauce and it's worth the trip here.

If you're ready for a new fine-dining experience, it's time to visit Foti's Restaurant in Culpeper, Virginia. The superb service, delicate flavors, and extraordinary wines rival those of the finest restaurants in the Washington, D.C., area. Indeed, owners Frank and Sue Maragos refined their talents at the world-famous Inn at Little Washington prior to opening Foti's in 2005. Yet the friendly atmosphere and small-town hospitality are uniquely Foti's, which is why the establishment bears Frank's childhood nickname. Foti's menu revolves around the finest local products, including grass-fed beef and lamb, handmade cheeses, and heirloom vegetables and herbs.
