Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

It’s a local for my parents and a regular must do Breakfast when we visit them. Friendly staff and amazing quality, well cooked breakfast (they also do lunch). Great value for money and never disappointed!

We were on the way home to West mid-Wales from the Saundersfoot area having had to leave our holiday accommodation too early to have breakfast. We had spotted Caffi Beca on the map on our route home so decided on this as our ‘breakfast stop’....An excellent choice it turned out to be too. We arrived about 9:40 am, 10 minutes after opening time, and saw that the car park was pretty full – a very good sign. It was indeed very busy but the friendly welcoming staff immediately prepared us a table and we ordered our breakfast. The quality of the ingredients was very good and everything was well cooked. There was a lovely ambience in here, and the walls are adorned with illustrations of the famous Rebecca Riots (Terfysg Beca) which occurred in this area of Efailwen in protest at excessive Toll charges on the roads. We will certainly include Caffi Beca on our itinerary next time we head this way.More

Called here with a party of 12. All who ordered and had food here were over the moon with the quality and standard of food. Staff very friendly and pleasant and nothing too much trouble. I have eaten at this cafe several times and always been pleased. I have not explored the menu but am very predictable in opting for a "Beca breakfast" or even better a "Beca brunch", the latter now being available early in the day rather than...only from lunch-time. I like to start with a nice hot mug of tea of adequate strength ( when visiting other cafes, I carry an emergency tea bag in my pocket for fear of a cup of feeble tea as offered in so many places). The brunch includes a good sized portion of chips - in my opinion the best chips in the country! What IS their secret? Could it be the potato variety, the type of oil, or the expertise and loving care in the cooking. Could it be twice (or even thrice) cooking but much cheaper than Heston's!. The other breakfast ingredients are also fully up to scratch and I like the way the polite staff agree to substitutions, unlike some other places. I can not comment on other menu choices such as fish and chips. It is very likely that you will hear Welsh spoken by the staff and some of the clientele but don't worry - the staff will speak perfect English and with the same welcoming smile.More

We have recently stayed a 'fine end' Cotswolds hotels and each morning said "I wonder if the breakfast will match up to Caffi Beca." They didn't. At Caffi Beca your breakfast is cooked for you, not hanging about in heated trays going soggy as found...in so in called good hotels. Best quality ingredients, presentaion and personal service and a place with character. Hard to find these days. Don't miss an opportunity to eat here. Lynda D.More

I eat here regularly as my own business is relatively close by and it's nice for me just to take a break and eat out. I'm always greeted with the warmest of welcomes either in Welsh or English and the food is always cooked well...at a reasonable price. This little cafe is always busy and well supported by the local community because they know what VFM is all about. I rarely leave a 5 star review but it's hard to fault this little oasis.More

Caffi Beca lies on my route from Oswestry to Tenby, and I am prepared to starve until I arrive here. All food is freshly cooked to your order, with the freshest of quality local produce. Your waitress will most certainly be conversant in English and...Welsh and will happily use the language you choose. Caffi Beca is a family owned restaurant and has served the people of the area diligently for a number of years. Call in and experience the welcome, the ambience and the so excellent food. You may wonder how a restaurant could survive in such a sparsely populated agricultural area, well ! It is down solely to the excellent service and food that is offered, along with a warm Welsh "Croeso". So go there and enjoy the visit.More
