What a wonderfully quaint venue. Old school tavern and great food. I had gazpacho, Tavern Salad, and broiled crab cakes (lots of lump!!). One of the best restaurants on the Northern Neck!!

Found this delightful little place. The food was excellent, even had the chef asking how we wanted things prepared! Excellent service, great wine list. An old property with 2 double rooms, steeped in history. Will be staying here when we visit the area again.

We were treated to first class service, particularly impressive for a week night, and every bit of the meal was delicious. I chose the chicken pot pie, served open-faced beneath a flaky pastry crust, and it was top-notch. Absolutely excellent experience!

The food was excellent. The atmosphere was similar to Colonial Williamsburg. Very cozy and relaxing. The prices were very good and the servings were large. Highly recommend. The service was also excellent.
