Panera is normally great for their sandwich and bakery options. We visited a couple in Lynchburg this visit. However the staff knowledge, response, care and service at this location was lacking for some reason. Not bad, but unfortunately I could not score them higher.

My wife loves their baguettes and Greek Salad. We visit a couple times a month, when LU is not in session. When it is in session, it is very difficult to find seating. All the seats, tables and booths are mostly taken up by students. As I mentioned earlier, it seems overpriced. It is usually almost $15 without tip for... More

We mostly eat b'fasts at Panera, but our grand kids wanted to eat lunch here, because they really like the kids meal... Mac & Cheese with some real cheese)with chips and chocolate milk. The grownups... all went for half salads versus the full salad, which is huge. I had a Thai Chicken salad that was fresh and the chicken was... More

Stopped by on a rainy night to get a bowl of broccoli soup. Ended up with a half sandwich and cup of soup, and got a bowl of soup to go. OMG. Bill came to over $20. I was shocked. Their sandwiches and soups and really good but at that price I'm gonna go eat steak

I don't know if this facility is old or it's the location immediately on top of Ward's Road, but this facility seems a little less lovely than most Paneras in terms of atmosphere. It seemed a little crowded, dirty, and too cold.

Though still busy in the afternoon, this is a good location that has a good bit of room with the normal, friendly enough service and tasty products.

Enjoyed eating here. It was a typical Panera with breads and soups and salads and sandwiches. This particular one has LOTS of seating. It was clean... no problems!

We are frequent patrons of Panera Bread restaurants in various cities. At this one, the soup that was ordered was real disappointment. It did not have the typical amount of filling and was mostly runny liquid. Also, it was much more salty than is the case in other Panera Bread locations. Other items were fine, but this soup was bad.... More

So many choices. Great staff. There are so many different menu choices for a good price! The autumn squash soup is the best.
