Went here on monday evening and it was almost empty. I had the fish for main course that was ok and my wife took the fitness salad that was quite nice. There was a smell of old tobacco in the restaurant though that wasn't so pleasant. Service was decent but overall, there are better places around.

Came here with a friend. We both ordered Carpaccio for starters and a 200gr. steak for main. Both were very good. They kept our drinks coming and we returned more nights sometimes just for drinks and other for more. I can highly recommend this place.

We went there for dinner. Service was pretty quick and decent. We were mostly satisfied with our courses even my friend got something that looked totally different than it was described in the menu. The menu offered a nice selection of mainly meat meals. Beers were typical Austrian so not much choice for beer lovers. All in all, an average... More

We wanted to eat there a few days ago and we entered the restaurant at 5:57 pm. The atmosphere looks rather gloomy and there is a smell that can scare you. But we were too hungry and decided to stay. Unfortunately a waiter came to us and looked at us as we just landed from the Moon. When asking if... More

Great pancakes with ice- good service from the waiter with humour. All food we ate was good and the place was quite Austrian-like. Minus for bad smell behind the bar (broken sewer?)

Behind a rather bland facade, there is a charming old-style restauurant. The interior is divided into a number of areas, each decorated with various antiques, pictures, and memorabilia. The effect is a warm, cosy ambiance. The food at the Pralatur is good rather than great. Solid Austrian food served in large portions. Neither of us were able to eat our... More

A great authentic Austrian restaurant in the heart of Badgastein. We thoroughly enjoyed the excellent food and sevice and the ambience was casual and friendly. Menu had a good choice and our two starters (apple soup and smoked trout) were delicious and the main courses (veal strips and catfish) were also excellent. Would highly recommend.

Highly recommend their boiled steak with clear beaf soup. This dish is impressive! steak is boiled which gives a very good soup. soup is super good, clear and tasty, a bit chinese style but owner told me it's traditional austria dish, interesting to know. steak itself is well cooked, but still chewable, juicy.

Thank mengbei

This restaurant is part of the Elizabeth Hotel. It has a very relaxing atmosphere and the Johan the restaurant manager is very welcomming and loves to have a laugh with his clients, nothing is too much trouble. The menu doesn't have a huge variety it the food is to die for! Try the Lamb Shank, it melts in your mouth! Having had an apartment in Bad Gastein for four years now I thoroughly recommend this restaurant.
