Delicious range of classic French food beautifully presented. Friendly family run restaurant reasonably priced. Lovely setting
We had an amazing meal here as a family. The staff were all so lovely and friendly and welcoming. The food was the best we have eaten in France, the beef Carpaccio was delicious! Great atmosphere, full of locals. You need to book as they...only serve dinner for a few hours a day and they were turning people away as they were full when we were there. Cant wait to return!More
Amazing little restaurant. Have visited many times. A must. Great service. Outstanding food. Book though!!! Gets full. Try the little plates of Auberge loveliness for dessert. 5 mini desserts. I had lamb which was tender and tasty. My husband had scallops. Loved them!!!
Had an excellent meal of fairly traditional French food. Staff is friendly and welcoming, but do not speak English. Menu is in French but has some limited translation. Quiet and comfortable
Absolutely fabulous food. Set menu was good value and extremely good. The service was very friendly and helpful even though we don’t speak French
A splendid meal in a well appointed restaurant in a delightful setting. Service was good and the food well cooked and presented. We celebrated my wife's birthday with a first class meal.
This restaurant is simply perfection. Four Americans had 2 dinners here over a 9 day stay as well as a lunch. We tried almost the whole menu between the group and everything was outstanding. The beef with truffle sauce, mushroom risotto, beef tar tar and...Raspberry with warm cheese soufflé were among our favorites. When you are abroad kindness is key. The staff here are warm and welcoming despite the language barriers. They could not have treated us any finer. We even celebrated our son’s proposal to our beautiful daughter in law to be!More
The food was delicious and the owner was very friendly and welcoming. Our son enjoyed the children's menu option and the mushroom risotto was delicious.
Amazing food. Wonderful service. Could not fault. i had fish choices and they were fresh, well cooked and full of flavour. The little desserts of delight are 4 mini desserts which you must try. Quite out standing. Decor inside is lovely although we sat out...over looking the square. better book!!!!More
We have been supporting this friendly, family-run auberge for many years, in all seasons, and are grateful to be able to taste the efforts of a very accomplished chef. The food is prepared freshly and manages to bring out the very best of the various...flavours. Service is understated but very efficient, and courteous. The best Creme Brulee in France! Thank you Auberge de la Rode.More
This restaurant is highly recommendable. The steak came perfectly coocked medium rare, thr terrines were very tasty. The fish tartare was sensationel. Though freshly coocked, everything was served quickly. The deserts looked delicious, but we were too full to eat one.The service was very nice,...too. This restaurant is worth paying the little extra for extraordinary food.More
This restaurant is family run by a very nice mother and daughter. It is located on the perimeter of the original Domme square. The beef with truffle sauce was so good we went back a second time during our six day stay.
Food was above average and enjoyable. Lovely owners and attentive service. We sat outside as we had brought our dog. We would return.
Had an excellent lunch. Very friendly staff and excellent food. Price was in line with the quality of the food
