Chilly night, but we found parking easily nearby. Nice ambience , lovely old sympathetically restored building. comfortable chairs. Warm welcome . We had a good meal ,husband ,said one of the best fish soups, and finished with one of the best tarte tatins he's had. I had escargots and fillet dorade . All in all a very nice meal. We... More

We had been told that service was slow at this small restaurant, however it was very efficient for us. The food was good and reasonably priced. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit

We ate in Les P'tites Assiettes twice during our stay in Arromanches and on both occasions we had an excellent meal. The menu has some interesting local dishes and there was plenty of choice. Everything was cooked to perfection and beautifully presented. The service was prompt and friendly. The atmosphere was welcoming and relaxed; just how we like it. We... More

We were looking for a break from the usual type of seafood restaurant in the area, and we found an interesting meal here. The preparations are mostly traditional, but they offered some options we had seen less, such as Dorade and skate wing. There was an emphasis on local products like andouille sausage in the charcuterie plate and Calvados with... More

Hotel recommended as somewhere to eat and not disappointed. Menu was a little limited but what was offered was first class and most enjoyable meal was had.

Encouraged by TripAdvisor and by recommendations from our B&B, we tried this restaurant for dinner. From the street, it didn't look promising, but hidden within was a pleasant dining room. We arrived early in the evening without reservations and were promptly seated, but later on, the restaurant filled up. The crowd was mostly French speaking, but we were served graciously... More

After a disappointment the day before in one of the other restaurants, we tried this only (found via tripadvisor!). Good advice: avoid most restaurants in the main street... The menu is limited but the food is excellent. We visited the restaurant with my family (6 adults) and choose the 3-course menu. Service and food are excellent..., wine is somewhat expensive... We ate here twice on the recommendation of our hotel. Hotel L'Ideal le Mounbatten which is in easy walking distance. Very welcoming and delightful young waiter. Good choice of food well cooked and presented

Menu is small but excellent. So good in fact we went twice. Friendly, efficient and pleasant. Not overly priced and a good choice of wine or beers. Really recommend it.
