Absolutely beautiful restaurant in a beautiful part of the world. It's french with an asian twist, really fabulous food. This is definitely a fine-dining restaurant so be prepared for high quality and high prices, but it's well worth it. Went with friends, a very enjoyable...More

Always a pleasure to dine inside or out. Excellent service and food: The pear and Chantelle cream desert is divine.

We were pleasanty welcomed and impressed by the menu but the food fix 't live up to expectations. The lamb shank was tasteless and very tough and full of sinuses. We made our complaint to a waitress but nothing was done about our complaint. We...More

Just a little way off the bustling waterfront of Ars-en-Re, it is beautifully set for a peaceful, high quality meal - indoors or in the shade of parasols and olive trees in the garden. We visited on a very warm day but there was sufficient...More

Great court yard and very deceiving from the side road you have to go down to find it. Loved everything! Very strong Asian flavours mixed with French and fabulous produce. Will go every time I return to Ars en re, which is every year.

Most of the dishes are neither here nor there: Asian infused but quite tasteless. For example, the Tom Yang Gung was a broth with no spices and two shrimps. By comparison, prices are steep. Part of the attraction is garden seating - we were seated...More

We are regular visitors to the Ile de re and have regularly eaten at the grain de sel. Not again however after tonight. The last time we ate here was 2015 and felt it was not as fresh or attentive same menu etc. But thought...More

A longstanding favourite but all it takes is a few langoustines that are less than ideal an it can ruin the whole night and next day. The food is highly creative but the menu doesn't change very often. It's highly creative and beautifully presented, especially...More

This amazing restaurant sits a few hundred meters from the bustling bars and eateries that populate the harbour side. Our party of 6 including a 5 year old and a 3 year old booked for Sunday evening. The service was efficient and speedy despite it...More

Perfect lunch with friends, under the oleanders and sunshades in the courtyard (the diningroom is cosy and interesting on cooler days). The fixed menus are 23 Euros for 2 courses or 30 Euros for 3 courses, but we opted for a la carte (mine came...More
