We discovered this lovely restaurant purely by chance on our last ski trip of this season as so many of the lifts were closed due to high winds. We were the only guests but the outside sun terrace soon filled up as everyone took advantage of the sun trap on their ski down. Service was very good and the host... More

You get everything you want to drink and eat, but this is first of all the place to rest in the sun and drink after your first half part of the day skiing

We had booked as we had eaten here in previous years, but we were disappointed when we arrived as no table available, so we waited, and then had to remind, eventually seated. Order taken and tartiflettes arrived very promptly, but we had to chase again and again for water and bread, in fact in the end we fetched ourselves, as... More

Excellent food with top service, great place to stop for a launch break during a ski day. The location is very good and convenient. We stayed in Val Thorens and this was our late launch stop after long ski day back from Courchavel.

GREAT FOOD and service. Beautiful setting. Would definitely recommend and would go back. Not too hard a ski back down too which is good on a full stomach!

We thought this restaurant/bar looked inviting and skied in. We were seated and handed the menus but we could not afford anything and only wanted a light lunch so we apologised and left. Certainly would be fine dining at those prices.

Found this restaurant by chance whilst skiing. Excellent spot in the sun on the terrace. Really friendly waiters. Complimentary mulled wine. Slightly on the expensive side but you are paying for the spot. Would definitely return.

The sun deck is wonderful. View is great. Wonder really nice. But that's all the positive there is. The food is not to good and prices are really high. There is no heart in the food, things that take a while to prepare where served within minutes! Turning tables is what they want. There are many places with better food... More

A table for 14 taking two groups of friends utterly ruined by appalling service and overpriced and terrible food. Over an hour for the children to receive sag bol which was cold pasta and grey slop. The adults paid 28 or 31 euro (each!) for a truffle omelette which was a one egg rubber mat with a shaving of truffle... More

Welcome to the “chalet TONIA” We hope you will : Eat heartily
And drink heavily
However you should follow this advice,
If you want to enjoy the following dishes as much as possible and appreciate all their flavors, do not eat them all at once, savor them very small quantities and a little bit everyday as it is true that the nicest way to leave your host is to tell him: "A demain" (see you tomorrow)
