Nice niveau, such a "genius loci" in restaurant in old citadel. Very kind owners and staff, you will feel very well here.

We visited the hotel Al Forte and ate breakfast and dinner at the restaurant. Fine European style breakfast and great dinners featuring a selection of tasty antipasti followed by two very good courses and dessert. Excellent service staff who went out of their way each meal.

Excellent restaurant with charming inside the fortress and very special food from the antipasto (typical from the region) to the dessert very delicious. We suggest to try the venison cotlett with amarone wine...

First class menu and service. A very good selection of wines and a head waiter who knows what he is talking about.

Stayed at the hotel and ate dinner one evening. A la carte reasonably priced though went with fixed guest menu, 3 courses and even better value. Welcoming, attentive staff, though not overbearing. Great food, had game linguine, then finely sliced ( and perfectly cooked) beef with grilled vegetables then a very good tiramisu. Highly recommended.

We were guests at the hotel and stayed Half-board. All the staff were attentive and very friendly. For dinner, 5 choices were provided for starter and 5 for main course each day. An order was taken at breakfast for that evening. Except for the Ladin Evening (regional specialities and fixed menu with restaurant full to bursting), food arrived promptly. Dietary... More

We did not chose it. Got hungry and stopped there without checking it first. No regret whatsoever. Food was delicious, from starter to dessert (one of the best panacotta i ever had). Meat was perfectly cooked, tender, tasty. Service was fast, good, with a good sense of humor. For us, it felt like we found the jewel of the valley... More

My Family stayed here in early August for over a week, the food was disappointing, the Male owner unfreindly, breakfast could be vastly improved they need a toaster at least, breakfast coffee not good! The one thing that kept us there was the male waiter, Nano i think his name was, what a star, overworked and underpaid! Good luck buddy,... More
