The views here are simply stunning. It’s worth a visit for them alone. Looking down on Arabba and away to the mountains. Beautiful place to see sundown. Except they close at 430. And if you ask for drinks close to that don’t expect smiles. No sir. 2 hot chocolates. Frowning. Small beer. More frowning. The hot choc was too thick and dark for me. Beer was just right. Enjoyed the view whilst making it disappear. Nice easy red / blue run back to Arabba to end the day.

Stopped for lunch during a day’s skiing. Busy restaurant and there were people queuing for a table which we didn’t see any where else during our week’s holiday. Staff seemed busy, but friendly when you got their attention. One incorrect order was corrected without fuss. Schnitzel was good but steak strips were tough and tasteless. Overall adequate if you find yourself near this restaurant at lunchtime, but there are much better places in the area.

Refuge on the slopes of Arabba, a nice place with outdoor space. Good dishes, allergens are indicated on the menu. Average prices.
The only flaw, I found little organization in the service, especially when taking command there were a few misunderstandings between the waiters. However, after calling them several times and after a short wait we ordered and the dishes arrived quickly.
I would go back anyway.

Stopped for lunch but did not manage to get anything to eat. Lots of tables had become free so no shortage of space but no one was clearing tables. We sat for 15 minutes waiting for someone to give us menus, clear the table and take an order. It didn't happen so we left.

Starting from Arabba im a path of about a little more than an hour of climbing on foot and under the sun we arrived in qs beautiful refuge, following the signs that accompanied us with advertising images of inviting dishes during our route. I must say that when you get up, you let yourself be dazzled by the aesthetics of the certainly modern and well-kept refuge. Too bad, however, that the advantages end here. We arrived around 4:30, no one was there. We ordered 2 coffees, 2 cakes and 1 spritz. The service already sinned immediately, taking order of 2 cakes which then came back to tell us that both were available. Let's change.. And when we tasted them, we didn't like them. The tiramisu was more like a hearty cream almost without "pie", that is, it lacked the consistency of the ladyfinger. The spritz, served without even bringing us 2 chips or olives to accompany. (I had to ask myself and x luck we are in Veneto!). In short, in the end x qs 4 things, which we did not even appreciate for their quality, we paid a large bill of 28 € and disappointed, we left. Also because the effort x get there, nn worth it.
I did not like it and will not return.

Refuge reachable on foot from Arabba in 40/50 minutes with children. The path starts immediately with a good slope, then improves. However, it is very comfortable. It can also be reached by chairlift. Once you reach the top on foot you find yourself in front of this beautiful refuge. The well-kept interior is beautiful with a spectacular window towards the mountains. Clean toilets accessible by lift or staircase on floor minus 1. The menu is varied and with different possibilities. I chose: William pears with speack on cheese fondue. Very good! The desserts are equally good. All perfect. Note of merit for the manager Giuseppe. A very kind and friendly person. At the same time also very nice. An absolutely recommended destination. I would really like to try it in winter too to see the snowy panorama.

Very welcoming, bright refuge, a beautiful viewpoint, and well-kept interior furnishings.
Welcomed by friendly, professional staff.
Excellent quality dishes. Delicious tart appetizer with polenta and mushrooms and melted cheeses. First course of dumplings with very tasty mountain pine cheeses. Plate of potatoes, eggs and delicious crispy speck. To finish, an excellent amaretti mousse....excellent.
To be recommended!

We have been frequenting this refuge for years and it is always a guarantee of quality and professionalism. Good pizza and all the local specialities, well-kept interior spaces and sun-kissed exteriors. Prices lower than the area average.

🍴 We opted for a quick sandwich because the restaurant was really full! 🥪 While the service was great, not all of the sandwiches arrived well done. 😕 Maybe it was because there were so many people, but this doesn't justify a service with gaps. 🙅♂️ For example, in one of the sandwiches the cheese hadn't melted! 🧀 This little attention to detail is reflected in the toilet! 🚽 In fact, she looked very neglected. 😔 Even if the cleaning was good, the signs of aging on the walls are all visible. The open paper roll holder is not good at all, especially from a hygienic point of view! 🚫 A shame, because the refuge is really very beautiful! 🏔️

Every year we go skiing in Arabba. Refugio Burz is a very nice place to be for lunch or a drink after a whole ay skiing. The location is very good, when it's sunny; Burz is perfect! Whole day long you can enjoy this nice place with it's beautiful view. The menu is good , the service also!

We had a great lunch stop in the sunshine with fabulous views. Our waitress, Laura, was so friendly and efficient throughout. Spätzle and barley risotto very nice.

A beautiful location at the top of the chairlift from Arabba. We had a wonderful lunch on the terrace in the sunshine - delicious ravioli and a superb salad. The service was excellent, the view sublime.

My daughter and I went and ate outside and had a fantastic time with great service and a really good pizza sitting outside. The whole experience was very charming
