Interesting variety of dishes including vegetarian. Good cocktails. Service professional. We were there on a busy Saturday night so it was crowded and very noisy, families with children and loud music from the radio! Still we enjoyed the meal and it's probably even better on a week night

We love going to Caffe Magi before going out to eat. In Italy, it's called an appertivo. You order a drink, alcoholic or nonalcoholic, and you get appetizers (if you're sitting outside, you must walk in to serve yourself). It's got a lot of great art, sits across from the city's duomo (cathedral) and is great for people watching or... More

We loved everything we ate here. Original combinations. Very different dishes - so I guess every body will find something. Freshly prepared. (So it takes a little bit of time to be served.) Honest price.

We were there 11 people getting drinks and something to eat. Both were very delicious and tasty. The people serving and very friendly. I Got the Chili Con Carne and that was the best chili Con Carne I have ever eaten. We will for sure come back again.

We first stopped off here in the afternoon to dodge a rather heavy rain shower. We had 2 delicious cocktails (non alcoholic) and were given a selection of crisps and nuts to go with them. We booked a table for the evening. The menu is a mixture of Asian fusion, classic English pies and she parts pie, fish dishes. Both... More

We were fortunate to find Magi Cafe on our first day in Citta Di Castello and dropped in for a light lunch. The menu offered a great choice, different to many others that seem to have the same menu of Primas and Secondos! We had a green curry and a wonderful lamb meatballs in yoghurt and herb dressing meal. We... More

Sometimes even the best of the best is enough, and I go to Caffe Magi to take a break with a British pie or a curry. They do them very well! I also had the best Pimm's cocktail of my life there. They do have Italian food, but I haven't eaten it. Seduced by curry, I suppose.

A cosy spot, excellent cappuccino and cornetti for breakfast each day. Giovanni, the barrista, is friendly. Well patronised by many locals made it a pleasure to visit.

This bar used to be tucked away but moved to it's current location about 4 years back and has never looked back. It's situated across from the Duomo in Castello. The drinks and nibbles are always lovely and you can watch life go by, especially on a Thursday eve when everything happens in town.

When visiting a city for several days it is important to have a "motherpub" - a drinking hole away from home, central meeting point with free wifi, good service, snacks and reasonably priced drinks. This place ticks all those boxes. Sitting outside on the piazza is lovely, the interior decor and paintings are really beautiful and the inside is cosy... More

Description
Warm and welcoming, in the historical centre of Città di Castello, facing Piazza Gabriotti (Piazza di Sotto for the tifernati), one finds caffè Magi. Full of British pub character but with Italian elegance. On the walls you can admire the work of contemporary painter Robbie Duff-Scott, a refinded characteristic which makes even more pleasurable to savour a good coffee and much more. An excellent choice of draft beer, a knowledgable selection of liquors and particular attention is paid to the making of classic cocktails and aperitifs. Everything is enhanced by the wide range of international dishes courtesy of our kitchen.
