Went looking for this restaurant but it has clearly closed. They also have another similar named restaurant with a different address, which is also not there.

Visited here twice. Once we ate in the quiet garden, at night - atmosperic and quiet. The second night rain drove us inside to the beautiful old building with its vaulted ceilings. The food is different, Madeiran. We had steak on a stone one night, and fish and meat the other, each with its own little twist. All the food... More

This is a delightful restaurant with a leaning towards Madeiran cuisine. It is a pretty building with a vaulted ceiling. There is also a glass walled area and a delightful 'secret garden' at the rear. Had superb lunch, staff were so friendly and helpful. Went to a birthday celebration few days later and it was wonderful. Food is super and very reasonable do try it.

Great restaurant from th poncha drink to th bife kebab on th bayleaf spit ,scabard fish ,fry sweetcorn ,vary helpfull staff ,it's a must vesit to fully appreciate open for lunch for daily spacials and evenings
