Called twice for morning coffee - what a great, friendly place this is. Very casual but attentive staff. The location is at the very end of the promenade and the sea view is amazing wherever you sit. Look forward to our return visit

The food and the fun that can be experienced in A Gaivota is second to none. It is located at the end of the prom in Quarteira and the owner Miguel has a welcome for everyone. But the staff are excellent and are so friendly and welcoming. The food during the day and night is to die for. Miguel also... More

Unexpectedly found this place when looking for a place to park the car! Located at the very end of the promenade in Quarteira this place was an excellent find! Fresh local fish, Garlic Prawns to die for and a steak the size of your fist cooked to perfection. Truly a great place to eat and watch the world go by.... More

This is a typical nice beach restaurant. The location is wonderful with a splendid view over the beach with Vale do Lobo to the east and Albufeira to the west. The food is ok but nothing great. It is not price worthy, though and the service is not the best. But having lunch here is good and we know many... More

This beach bar/restaurant is better than the others along the Quarteira promenade, We chose the monkfish rice for two, which did take a long time to arrive but was very tasty and a good sized portion served in an earthenware terrine. The other dish was scampi. At 11 euros, there was only about 5 pieces of scampi and accompanied by... More

The best place ever in Quarteira! I truly recommend it for coffee, lunch and dinner. Delicious food made with knowledge, experience and passion. Great wines, salads, fresh fishes and really tasty meat. Experienced and attentive personel, always ready to serve, and charming and truly committed owned Miquel. Keep on going that way!

We first visited here last year and it was the first we went to this year, eating twice here over our two week stay. One of the best locations in Quarteira, we were not disappointed and during our visits we ate fresh grilled salmon, chicken curry and one of their special mixed tapas (served up to 7pm)...sides were salads, Algarve...
