The place isn't fancy, but the food and wine are great. They serve a variety of Portuguese dishes - from fish, octopus, to meat. Ask for a nice vino Verde reco.

Friendly staff, excellent food, reasonable prices, possibility to have half-portions (highly recommended as even those are big!) - what else could you ask for? I'll definitely return here if passing thorough Fao again!
This restaurant has a traditional cuisine in a very familiar ambience, inside the historic centre of Fão. The price is good.
