4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed yesterday NEW

After a challenging drive we waited a while for a table. Then we waited ages for a menu. Then we waited what seemed like hours to be served. By the time we ordered, everything we wanted had gone. Asking what they did have, we were recommended the harira soup. Some things are worth waiting for and this definitely was. Based... More

This was recommended to us by some friends and it did not disappoint. Like other reviewers have mentioned, parking up and walking here made the food completely worth it. We sat on the balcony drank in the views and had such an amazing lunch here. It was so difficult to decide what to have - everything sounded so appetising! In... More

There is a lot of history relating to the small hamlet which is about 20mins drive from Frigliana. The approaching road is a little tricky in places so a normal hire car will be to take it slow. We actually parked at the sign for 1.4km to it and walked the rest of the way which was a lovely way... More

Stopped here for coffee one morning having walked the last 1.7km from the end of the tarmac road rather than driving it. As we sat down a board emerged advertising home made cakes. Do not miss them. I had carrott and chocolate cake and my husband had pear cake both served with whipped cream and a creme anglais. We needed... More

The owners and the family of this restaurant provided such a warm welcome on what was a wet and cold day!! We went for lunch and the food and the service was just lovely. Nothing was too much trouble, the menu was explained. The food was superb, chicken in yogurt was with a subtle hint of spices but very tasty,... More

Friends took us here for lunch and what a discovery! The location is breathtaking, the food delicious and the service fantastic.....and the history of the place with its recent restoration is fascinating. Don't let the bumpy ride put you off! Only open lunchtimes - every day of the week.

Worth every inch of the walk from Frigiliania. We did not expect such quality, it was divine, something that you expect from a high end restaurant. We had the tomato salad with orange and cilantro, it was delicious and enough for the two of us along with their beautiful homemade bread. There were 4 other couples there at the same... More

I'm a regular visitor to this restaurant and I love to share it with other travelers. The last time I was there I noticed a new bar had opened at the entrance to the village and I thought it worthwhile to mention to visitors not to get mixed up between the two restaurants. Our walking group visited on the day... More
