This is without doubt the best place for chocolate and churros in the area. Alexis provides thick, deeply flavoured chocolate and a huge bag of churros to dip and savour. In most of the local cafeterias (there are no others that serve chocolate and churros in Frigiliana, the next nearest are in Nerja and Torrox) the chocolate is much thinner... More

We live in the village and once in awhile we fancy something sweet and delicious - so we head to Alexis's Churro. Hot chocolate with a mound of churros all presented with a lovely smile and a greeting.

We have had breakfast here a few times. The chocolate and churros are amazing, freshly cooked and excellent value.

Wow Alexis' churros are sensational. Made fresh as you order - 4 very large churros and a pot of delicious choc sauce for 3 euros. We could go here every morning but that's a lot of calories in 2 weeks and would have to have a seat belt extension on the way home! Like a sweet Yorkshire pudding mmmmmmm

Best churros in Frigilliana and probably within 100 miles radius! Churros made fresh as you order, hot chocolate has a thick consistency and delicious. We went back nearly every day. Worth a try, you will not regret it. Alexis only opens in the morning and usually finishes around or before lunch time.

Maybe tells a story of life in Frigiliana, just give us some simple fresh food and cut the pretention. The big Cuban smile helps, even if the Churros was eaten next to the bins by the bus stop. Good luck to him; service with a smile is always good.

Great churros served with a large helping of chocolate by Alexis, a big friendly cuban. We had one portion between two which was more than enough. He has cinnamon sugar to sprinkle and the coffee was also pretty nice. €3 for churros and chocolate and €1.50 for a cup of coffee it all represented great value. Seating area is pretty... More
