Deia is a very appealing place and restaurant prices can be high. Thank goodness for the friendly and economical Village Cafe with tasty food and a wonderful terrace to spend an hour or so in.

Nice little spot. Busy even in October. Both had the home made Hamburger, one chocolate lava cake and one almond cake with home made lemonade and coffees. Everything just perfect.

Great gin! Friendly service with good gazpacho and tapas- somewhat limited menu for 3 visits in one week but excellent quality food! Well situated but worth booking even in October!

Lovely place for an outdoor drink in the village of Deia, the gin menu is well worth a look, the selection of gins are very good and the measures are above average. Cafe style menu is simple but the quality of the food cannot be faulted.

We were staying in Deia and decided to try The Village Cafe for lunch and we were very glad we did. The Gin menu is excellent with some unusual choices, but they are all reasonably priced and very tasty with the usual big measures. We also had the sharing tapas plate which was delicious and made for a very satisfying... More

We had lunch at the Village Cafe which has great views. The Cafe is not large but is popular. We waited a long time to be served after placing our order but were not in a particular rush so it was not an issue. The dish was a little overly salty for my taste but that is my own opinion... More

A dozen tables on a narrow terrace beside a side street and a water course, under a rough awning of rushes and climbing plants. What is there to get excited about? Well it is a charming place to just sit and watch the world around you whilst you eat and drink well at a reasonable cost. It does have a... More

Early evening cocktails a couple of years ago against the beautiful backdrop of Deia made me want to check this place out again for food on the next trip and it's great, simple, creative food nicely presented, it's Deia so obviously it's price point is reflective of its environment and not inexpensive but overall I think it's worth it and... Visited for lunch on the strength of reviews I'd read and I wasn't disappointed. Only small but packed for Sunday lunch. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We ate inside as all the outside tables were taken. We could've moved outside before we had our food but we're fine where we were. I had duck pate and my mum... More

This cafe exists where there seems no room for one thus it is all very friendly but nevertheless a great atmosphere exists. Super place for a light lunch and a refreshing beer or wine and the food selection, whilst limited, is good. Also seems very popular in the evenings doubtless as it is one of the more reasonable places to... More
