This guy was super arrogant and very rude. My group of 7 directly got up and left. We asked why wines were available as we started our dining experience and were arrogantly told that they have cheap wines and wines that are too expensive for us. We heard the pizza was good but, service is everything. The. The guy came... More

This was the number one restaurant in the area according to TA. Unfortunately we were left feeling as if it shouldn't be number one. The food was nothing better than ok, the service was without a smile and most of the restaurant staff were having a smoke by the main entrance next to our table.

Holy heck this place was a find for very good Italian food. The pizza from the wood fired oven was outstanding. White asparagus was in season so we had a ham/jambon, mozzarella and that lovely delicate white asparagus pizza and wow fantastic. I had the house shrimp & mushroom pasta in a tomato cream sauce that was flavorful and delicious.... More

What a wonderful place. The lasagne is incredible. Comes baked and the type your grandma would bake and so tasty you'll want to come back to Switzerland just to have it again. The pizzas and pasta are exceptional too. A must try!!

A year on since we been and we still remembered how delicious the pizza and triramisu were. Seriously! It was a Fri night when we got there and people just kept on coming in. We didn't know what kind of pizzas we ordered since the menu was all in Italian but it was so good, my hubby had calzone and... More

i passed that place so many times and stopped as it was the closest and too tired to drive further. it was really busy for a sunday evening, the service was fine and friendly, nice atmosphere in there too. we took our pizza's take away to eat on the road, not really hungry anyway, but after the first bite... it... This restaurant is a little out of the centre, and you are not going to stumble across it. It is worth checking out. The pizza was excellent and the service just fine. It gets busy at lunch time with locals.

La Botte is a little bit of Italy in Switzerland. We were made to feel very welcome. The menu is extensive and difficult to decide on just one dish!!! Will go again:)

We visited this place on a Saturday evening to grab something to eat and i must say that their pizza comes close to what is being served in Italy. It might look pricy at first hand but the size makes up for the whole thing. I ordered a quattro staggioni for approx. 24 CHF and received a 40cm in diameter... More
