When you visit ComiCoffee you are always greeted by smiling, friendly staff who make you feel valued and special.
In addition to the superb service, the food is absolutely delicious and, for me, being coeliac, they have a selection of gluten free items and let me recommend the GF Strawberry Indulgence.
Let’s not forget the ambience too because you’re in a comic super hero themed environment which is great for kids and the young at heart. It’s my great nephew’s favourite place too!
Love this place and the staff so definitely check it out when you’re in Newport.

We have been there on 4-Jul-2020, which is the first day for restaurants and coffee shops to host people after the pandemic. We found them putting lots of hygiene related guidelines and measures for them and guests to follow... They have really nice, happy and cheerful staff who helped us with lots of recommendations for out short visit to the island and of course their food and coffee were really nice where we tried their savoury waffles which were really delicious.

We've just discovered this gem of a coffee shop in Cowes next to the Red Jet terminal, having always heard great things about their Newport venue, we stopped in for hot drinks on the way to catch the Red Jet. We were so impressed that we came back the next day for food and drinks. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming and really do make the place full of fun and laughter. We felt the standard of the food for the price was incredibly good value and really enjoyed our paninis. We will definitely be stopping in here every time we're in Cowes.

We stumbled upon this quirky cafe whilst on holiday here and were greeted with the most friendly welcome - our dog was allowed inside too which is always a bonus. The waffles were so good - I can recommend the savoury vegetarian breakfast option with a side of maple syrup. Definitely worth a visit!

Coffee, cakes, waffles, panini, shakes etc cafe fare from a fabulous team and with an interesting theme that beats bland chains hands down.
Popped in with the family. Super friendly staff team. Decent social distancing measures. Great with our pre-teen kids.
Seeing and hearing customer interaction was a masterclass in all that is good about first rate and friendly service.
And there is marvel stuff. And bacon and maple syrup which is the food of the gods.
Added to our island favourites and we will be back.
Visit and help make sure businesses like this survive and thrive.

We spotted this place when we were shopping in Newport. It is not a huge place and was full but the staff offered to hold a table for us if we could come back in 30 mins.
We came back and were quickly seated. My son had a waffle with Nutella and strawberries which he loved. Myself and my husband had BBQ chicken melt panninis which were good portions and hot. I also had a milkshake (lovely) and then we took coffee's away.
The coffees were soo good that for the rest of our holiday we popped in every day for one.
This is such a nice plan to go. We saw lots of people unable to get a table so perhaps one day they might get a bigger premises - I am sure they could fill it.

Everything everyone's already said about this place, but one extra key thing.... we got to really enjoy our drinks before the food arrived, proving it was proper freshly cooked. Their waffle iron is clearly a thing of beauty and their bacon are huge, fat bacony rashers!
Visit at the start of your holiday to leave time to come again before you go home!

Lovely place to eat! The place has a really fun vibe to it, very colourful and inviting. The menu is vast ranging from savoury to sweet (I ordered the banana and nutella waffle which was to die for!) They even have smoothies which is so nice to drink on a summers day and refreshing. The service was really nice, food came promptly! By far my favourite cafe in the Isle of Wight! Definitely come here.

I’ve been coming here for i reckon over a year? In that time i’ve tried a selection of Coffees, Paninis and Cakes, all of which have been Fantastic! The Atmosphere is amazing and it is a nerds paradise (me included) The Staff are brilliant, Friendly and are definitely worth having a chat with for their politeness. Everything else in there is great, it’s never dirty, food and drinks never take long at all and a simple walking in greets you with a smile. Keep up the Job Comicoffee!

The shakes at Comicoffee are the greatest, most wonderful things. Crazy names, fantastic looking and deliciously tasting things. The regular drinks, teas coffees etc are equally delicious. Handmade on site by stylish, cheery and ever so friendly staff. The place really is a breath of fresh air. The styling of the place and the unique decor and furnishings make this a memorable and repeatable experience. My kids love it and price wise it competes well with the bigger, generic and faceless high street coffee shops.

We barrelled in here with our crazy kids and the staff couldn't have been nicer. We especially liked the waffle but all the food was good. The milkshakes are delicious (but not the thick kind you may be expecting).
I was even brought a glass of water when the waitress noticed I was breastfeeding my little one: the first time this has ever happened and much appreciated! Gold star 🌟

Nice comic themed cafe that my teen daughter enjoyed. We had a panini and avocado on sourdough. The avocado was overpowered by the lime which was a shame as the panini and milkshakes were good and well presented. Would happily go again but would ask for no lime in my avocado! 😃

Desperately needing a watering hole for a drop off in the hot weather, was chosen by our son for a visit. Amazing little cafe with loads to see and do while waiting. Food was fantastic, shakes and drinks were very much enjoyed and very reasonably priced. Excellent service.

Some of the best coffee in Newport. I am usually hesitant to order a flat white, especially with oatmilk, however, the milk texture is just so consistently spot on that this will now be my go to. Not to mention the super friendly staff and great food too👍

We stumbled past this place while out for a walk in Newport whilst on holiday and my son insisted we had to go in. Was not expecting much from a comic themed cafe, but the menu looked interesting and my son found a beano annual. We had some lunch and it was delicious! My chicken and avocado salad had a lovely ginger and soy dressing. I have paid more in "swanky" places for a salad and none of them have come close. My son had a panni and it would had disappeared much faster if it were not for the fact he was engrossed in reading comics! We enjoyed lunch so much that we then had some waffles and they were delicious as well. We had such a nice time that we came back the next day for a snack and a milkshake. The staff were friendly and there is a clear sense of community. If you like comics, salads, waffles, milkshakes, smoothies, cakes or coffee then you have to go!
