Visited India red Tuesday 27/08 24 with 8. Embers of our family. Everyone was very pleased with a service and meals staff went out of their way and all meals were excellent best we’ve had there were told it was under new management. Would highly recommended it had a wonderful experience.

We enjoyed a fabulous evening at India Red yesterday with our walking group of twenty-six people thanks to Mick and the team who are well versed in catering for larger parties such as ours via a pre-ordering arrangement.
Everything ran like clockwork and the room really buzzed when the meals began to arrive - a great atmosphere. Plenty of choice on the menu here. The various Sizzlers appeared popular, and the Madrasi Biryani was excellent. Good sized portions too.
Thank you India Red. Looking forward to the next time.

I you fancy a fabulous takeaway look no further than India Red . I can honestly say its the best takeaway we have ever had!! From ordering to arrival I couldn't fault it. Our takeaway arrived on a rainy Friday evening delivered by the restaurant itself, not uber or just eat. The food quality was amazing, the portion size very generous and the service top class. Thank you India Red.

We ordered a take away which was rubbish it ruined our night. The manger Ahmed who took our order was so rude he was not letting me explain what I wanted kept on talking over me. We ordered a mix grill and tandoori murgh masala. The tandoori chicken was cold inside my little boy was so disappointed he didn’t eat anything. Never ordering again.

We visited India red after so long but we left disappointed the food was so bad chicken patia was tasteless. Shada zal murge was just spicy but had no flavour. Shahi lamb was the worst no taste I think they changed the chef never going back again.

WOW! This is probably the best Indian meal I have ever eaten. Fantastic food and lovely staff. All 4 of us rated the food as top notch and they even made us mango lassi specially although it was not on the menu!! Recommended to anyone who likes a really good curry.

Myself and my wife live in Bournemouth, visiting family in the area. We went last night along with our close friends, …lovely meal, terrific attentive service, lovely portions all priced very reasonably, I’d definitely go back and also recommend. Thank you.

Mick planned a special dish for the chef to make for me as I am not eating meat or fish. Oh my goodness it was absolutely fantastic. The taste from the spices was just phenomenal. I will be having that next time I visit! Thanks Mick, delicious!!

Thank you for the great food at India. We didn’t book the table but the staff made us feel welcomed. they sat us straight away. Ray recommended some of the finest Indian dishes especially the lamb chops bhuna which had perfect flavour. Thank you Ray . can’t wait to visit again

I am just amazed by the taste of food . Their gentle hospitality just impressive... Actually I love the interior side decorations and the indian music they played created an great atmosphere.. Such an lovely place to pass time wth friends and family.. Can't wait to explore other food items again with my family 😋

This was my first visit to India Red and we chose it based on the recommendation of a regular customer.
Inside it was much larger than I expected and the tables are split over two rooms. It appears to have been refurbished recently (although the toilets are already showing a lot of wear) and the main room is divided into booths which means that noise levels are kept down making conversation easier. Unfortunately they don't serve alcohol so you have to bring your own but there are two shops virtually next door so it's not a major problem and I guess it gives you a greater choice of what to drink.
Starters took a while to arrive because the place was packed (make sure you reserve a table at weekends or you may be disappointed) but we'd ordered poppadoms so it wasn't an issue. However the main courses came fairly quickly after the starters.
The onion bhaji was fairly standard but my chicken tikka jalfrezi was probably the best I've eaten in a long time - full of spice with just the right amount of heat. Others in the party also enjoyed their meals, in particular the Ali Special. Everything on the menu seemed to be fairly priced when compared to other local Indian restaurants.
Staff were friendly, didn't mind opening our bottles and kept us up to date with waiting times.
As I drove home I passed a number of other Indian restaurants which only had few customers so obviously India Red is doing something they aren't, I guess it's the standard of the food.

And I quote …. Next time you order cheese naan, don’t forget to ask for cheese else you’ll get burger cheese slices ….. really, you have to ask for cheese in your cheese naan. Does that mean if i want chicken tikka I need to ask for chicken?

Myself and some friends who are not from area were looking for somewhere last minute to eat after another booking fell through, luckily we were able to book in at India Red, after lots of trip advisor-ing of local places this looked very promising.
It did not disappoint!! The service was top notch from the moment we walked in, friendly attentive staff who really made us feel welcome,
The food was absolutely delicious, it was so fresh and tasty, with lots of choice ( even for a veggie like me!) it wasn’t greasy or oily like some curry’s and good portion size.
The price was very reasonable too, we were having such a nice time we were there chatting for hours so apologies to the staff who ended up having to wait for us to go!
A great little place that I would highly recommended and if we are ever In the area again we will be returning !

Love this restaurant.
There are many Indian restaurants in Hednesford/Cannock and surrounding areas but India Red is by far the best.
Delicious freshly cooked food, friendly staff, always ready to help and advise if you can’t make your mind up and above all excellent value for money.

My wife and I, have been eating every weekend at India Red, for the last few years. The welcome, the atmosphere, the service, and the food, are exceptional. If there has ever been a problem, they have always rectified it straight away. During lockdown, we took advantage of their delivery service, which was always spot on. If you're looking for great Indian cuisine, try here.
