All reviews halloumi cajun chicken cakes mango rump steak sandwich fries murder mystery smoked salmon specials board coffee and cake fabulous food cooked to perfection couldn t booked a table my mum lunch time
Plenty of time and effort has been put into the decor, which looks splendid. There’s a choice of seating options too and the young, friendly staff were very helpful.
But just a couple of pointers for improvement - the eggs Benedict stated ham but I...was served bacon with mine, I know they’re both piggies and I happily eat both but wasn’t as I thought. I also didn’t prefer the hardened bread it came on as opposed to a softer muffin but that’s probably just personal preference.
The fresh orange juice was out of a carton and I also wandered how they manage with just one toilet, squeezed next to the bar, when it’s a full house and everyone’s drinking?
Like the title says though, it’s a good breakfast- better than average with points to improve. Enjoy!More
Headed here for a late breakfast whilst travelling south. Friendly and accommodating staff, delicious croque Madame and mushrooms pn roast with smoked salmons. Generous portions excellent coffee and tea (and I buy my coffee beans in Borough Market, London). Highly recommended
I cant rate The Twisted Tree enough. I went for a birthday treat with a friend. We both had lamb rump which was delicious. Then followed a shared dessert of the most delicious honeycomb cheesecake (well I am trying to watch my weight)!! All washed...down with a Rose pinot grigio. Finished with a lovely cafe latte.
The service was excellent and the staff very helpful and efficient. We sat outside but we could have sat inside if we had requested. We did book to make sure we could get a table. I can thoroughly recommend this place.....and the lovely shop attached to it (Twisted Vintage). Thank you Twisted Tree for a lovely birthday meal.More
I have visited this restaurant on several occasions now despite not living locally I find it an excellent stop just off the m62 when travelling back from anywhere.
The food just keeps getting better and better each time I visit. I normally order the halloumi...fries to start but this time I tried the beetroot Bon bons.. omg so glad I did they are to die for. I had the duck special for my main this was also amazing, just gutted i didn’t have room for dessert.
The service is also excellent. Keep up the good work can’t wait to visit again next time I am passing by.More
This is a fabulous gem of a restaurant! The food was simply sensational. I can heartily recommend the mushrooms on toast and the delicious carrot cake! The Bailey's coffee was to die for.
However, the icing on the cake was the excellent quality of the...service. The waitresses were friendly, professional and very helpful. One of them enthused us with her passion for tea and the range of teas she has at home.
Thank you so much... we will definitely be making a return visit to sample some more delights!
