Arriving at Django’s the frontage appears quite small but the actual restaurant is on two floors and much larger than it first appears. I was meeting my two children who were 30 minutes late and the staff were very accommodating offering me drinks and a...friendly smile. During this delay I had the opportunity to study the menus and there was an excellent choice. Eventually my son ordered the platter, I had the Smokehouse and my daughter had the beef short rib. The food was excellent, in fact, one of the best restaurant meals I have visited in years, we were all very, very impressed. The beef just fell of the bone and the fact it was smoked and cooked to perfection meant is was very tasty. Skin covered chips were provided with Django’s signature seasoning and in decent portions. The prices are a bit on the high side but, in this instance, you definitely get what you pay for. The staff were attentive and their visits to the table were well timed. Django’s is a little gem and if you are passing, or local, I would certainly give it a try. The only negative point is the lack of parking. The restaurant is surrounded my yellow lines and limited parking.More
