The noise level is becoming intolerable. For years now we have put up with very high levels of ambient noise for the sake of the good quality food and service. I don’t think we shall put up with this any more.

Use The Fig & Favour to meet family and friends and decided today (14/11) to have the Fig & Favour breakfast. To be honest I’ve had better in a local cafe. There must be a sale on cherry tomatoes as there was a proliferation on...my plate 😂 beans were average at best and one mushroom. If this was a school report it would read,”must do better!” Will give it a miss now until after Christmas when things will hopefully improveMore

Absolute joke place....waited 50 minutes for the ordered breakfast to turn up which was disappointing to say the lest wasn't told about the wait for food on arrival in which case we would have gone to the garden centre down the road which is far...better and cheaper it would seem. I can whole heartedly guarantee I will never be in there again. When we mentioned wait to the waitress she insisted we had only been there 30 mins DONT WASTE YOUR TIME GO ELSEWHEREMore

We have been going to Fig and Favour for many years, but after my experience the other day we certainly will be taking our custom elsewhere. The 'supervisor' waitress was extremely rude and lacks any form of customer service. Her attitude and response to my...complaint left me feeling so angry that I had to write this review.....and I never write reviews! Such a shame, as the food is good, but good customer service is also to be expected, which unfortunately I did not receive from this particular waitress.More

We came in for lunch, always busy here & there was a slight wait for a table but no problem for us. We had eggs Benedict & avocado toast & both were excellent, very tasty & well presented. We stayed & had coffee & shared...some cake, everyone we met was friendly, not rushed at all, thank you for very pleasant lunch.More

I have been coming in here fairly regularly for years now - however these visits are now becoming far less frequent. I hate to feel ripped off, and that is exactly what you get here. I struggle to find something I enjoy now on the...menu because of the reduced portion sizes. The eggs Benedict has literally halved in size, and most of the other brunch items are seriously reduced. Most recently I ordered the salmon stack and the salmon was non existent. There was literally one slither of smoked salmon amongst the masses of spinach. So disappointed that such a nice venue has done this. I now really begrudge paying these prices for such small portions. Delicious food, highly recommend the salmon stack. Friendly staff and quick to serve us even though it was a busy Saturday brunch.

Have visited on numerous occasions for breakfast and will always choose here when looking to dine out for breakfast. Never had a bad experience with the food, staff or anything for that matter. Only let down is the extra charges on the breakfast, eg if...you want to replace items off the standard breakfast for beans or hash browns there is still a charge. Products used are always so tasty and the menu offers a wide selection.More

Waiter got order wrong twice. Did not receive my meal until everyone else in my group had finished. It was my birthday meal the only compensation offered was the late meal free. Totally ruined my birthday meal. Felt the staff could' not care lessMore

Nice ambiance but felt at nearly 11 quid the breakfast was overpriced..I mean black pudding included as standard but baked beans extra.Surely it should be the other way round!

Almost missed it driving past, looking for a loo en route to Ludlow. Doubled back, saw the food signs so decided on lunch as well! :-)) We were swiftly welcomed at the front, taken to our choice of table, and the following service of food...and drinks was equally rapid. The food was exceptional for a roadside cafe, prices were very low (for a Surrey family, anyway!), and the conversation when thanking the staff was unhurried and friendly. Can only recommend highly.More
