Very smart looking place with attentive and attractive staff. Food was tasty and well presented. Clientele is well dressed and middle aged, although equally impressive for a younger date night. Only disappointment was the dessert menu, but I guess I was looking for something simple...More

We went for a roast dinner was really nice. Alittle bit pricey but was really nice food. Didn’t have to wait to long for a table either esp when it was quite busy

We visited as part of a family celebration, and fittingly we were looked after extremely well with service; warm, courteous and responsive. Our main courses were generally good and the burgers, salmon fish cakes and shoulder of pork were given positive reviews. Comments about the...More

I arrived early but when my friend arrived we were shown to our reserved table sooner than was expected so we started with a pre-dinner drink. I have eaten at this venue in the past and have always found the food and service to be...More

Portions have always been on the small side on the early bird menu but now they are the size suited for a child’s appetite. So not really an incentive to fine early. Drinks are sooooo expensive here. Especially the wine. Puts me off making this...More

From our lovely hare that greets you on the sign outside to our friendly & knowledgeable staff we offer a warm welcome to our pub. We have a spacious bar serving real ales and hearty bar food as well as an 80-seat brasserie serving the best of seasonal English food with a French twist. The wine list is a carefully selected journey through the best of the new World, along with some great French wines and a very special Blanc de Blancs sparkling wine that has been specially blended for us. Our gorgeous garden is the perfect spot to while away a few hours in the summer sun. Good food, real ale, friendly staff in a fresh and welcoming space: we have everything you would want in a favourite local.
