My daughter visited this so called restaurant yesterday drove an hour and half from Stevenage got stuck in traffic as a road was closed nearby rang to inform them that they would be late, got there at 8 and the booking was for 7.30 till...9. Once she got there they would not still not let her sit in to eat her food although the restaurant was empty. Disgusting service don’t visit if you expect a decent service and above all manors.More

Normally I go to the Surrey branch I went to Harrow branch today worst server today. He rushed us to get up from our table and worst part is we weren’t even finished eating. It was one of my sister’s birthday it made her birthday...terrible. He was huffing even sighing and just staring at us for us to leave. He said there was a booking for this table but there was 2 tables empty and the the party wasn’t even there. We came 15mins later after we left and still the party guest weren’t there. So didn’t really know why he rushed us. It didn’t even feel like worth of money. Never visiting this branch again. He was very rude. Never coming back!!!More

Good food. Place is cramped. Service is rude. So 1 for the overall experience. Tables are timed. U better finish before it finishes, or else the manager will kick u out lol

£95 for three of us for 2 crabs some awful prawns and chips went home hungry. The crab didn’t even taste of crab. One of the worst meals I’ve ever had.

Fat crab is the best. Quality food and super chilled vibes. Me and my partner have been here numerous times and they’ve never let us down. Staff are always so nice especially Umy. She pretty much knows our order now. We can’t stop going. The...whole shebang sauce is amazing with both the crab and prawns and the lemon pepper fries are perfect. Literally can’t fault it!!More

We visited for lunch on a Sunday. It is a tiny place seating just 20 covers or so. Our group of 4 adults and 2 young kids ordered some fried prawns and calamari to start, followed by 3 different “steamer bags” - the spider crab,...the local brown crab and a pound of prawns. We tried the lemon pepper fries, sweet potato fries and some rice as sides. The food was very good. The sauces in the bags had good depth of flavour, and the spicier ones we tried did have a nice kick to them. The spider crab was a favourite as it had some large chunks of meat within the long legs. Another unexpected highlight was the lemon pepper fries. It is a very messy meal, but the restaurant embraces this, and doesn’t provide cutlery or plates for example (unless you request it), hence encouraging you to just dig in! Any cutlery or drinking cups provided are disposable, as is the paper tablecloth, so at the end of the meal the whole table surface gets rolled up and chucked away. Service was decent. Presumably there was a time limit on the table, as we were hurried up ahead of ordering, and then the bill was brought without asking for it, just before the 2 hour mark. Not sure if they have dessert as it wasn’t offered, but from the website it seems only ice cream is on offer. The bill for our group came to a very reasonable £128 excluding drinks (we brought our own wine). Overall this was a very enjoyable lunch, and a differentiated seafood concept with the focus on cooking and serving the food in a steamer bag. It’s quite a long journey from where I live, but I hope to return sometime.More

I had 1/2LB boil in the bag, I just about managed to eat the prawns, the sauce was too salty. One of the servers asked how was the meal, I replied that it was rather salty, all she replied was "ok". Won't going back there...in a hurry.More

Took my boyfriend here as a treat as I’ve been to another branch & enjoyed. THE PLACE IS TINY! I FELT LIKE PART OF THE BOIL BAG. Seated by the door which was opened every other minute even though the fish tank of a restaurant...was full The lady didn’t explain how the menu operates ended up ordering a lobster boil bag x2 …...& portions of fries. The bag came we expected to see corn & stuff nope..just a bag of an uncleaned lobster with loads off its waste & eggs inside just foul. The lady told us after that fries were our boil sides if we wanted that we should have chose that instead. The cook looked unprofessional and unsanitary. The only reason it even gets a two is because the fries were actually nice.More

Second time at this restaurant, it’s a very nice place to get crab and other such sea food. The staff are nice. Only downside is you do have to prebook the table.

We were the only people in the restaurant and noticed the music had lyrics about ‘sucking d@@k’ and the N-word. We asked for the music to change because we had a child with us, but they refused. It doesn’t take a lot to change the...music but they wouldn’t - instead they told us we should never come back.More

Booked in dvance for an afternoon for a catch up with a friend on a Saturday afternoon. Ummy greeted me by name and the restaurant was not too busy, so it was a nice intimate environment. Never been here before so need some assistance on...the menu and how to get the apron on properly lol! Ordered the peel and eat king prawns, mussels and clams in a medium Whole Shabang - gorgeous! Amazing place to visit for seafood The service was amazing, staff were friendly and attentive (thanks Umme). The facility was good they had a sink out with hand wash in the open for people to use to clean their hands. The cleaning standard of the...toilet and the restaurant was good. The fat lobster feast for two: (came with two side and two drinks) The actual size of lobsters was slightly smaller than average, but the protion served to me was ok (for two I think you may need to add something else from the menu). The lobsters were fresh and tasty. I do like they have the right tools for you to use to break the shells and to pick the meat out. Not to mention, they have an apron to keep your clothes clean, so you can dismantle the lobsters without the worry of getting your clothes dirty. Pound of clams: The size of the clams itself were small and they are fresh. They came in the same bag with the lobsters if you ordered it with the same sauce (mine were garlic butter) which is good as the clams and the lobsters juices mixed together along with the garlic butter was very tasty. The garlic butter sauce were really nice, and it goes with the fresh seafood nicely. Even better, you can adjust the spicy level of the butter sauce to your liking. Adding this sauce to the rice is a must, you will know once you tried it especially after they cooked with few types of seafood. Overall, I would come back again, as I would like to try and review other dishes. Just beware it is a bit risky to go to this restaurant without a reservation, as the restaurant almost fully booked daily. I was luck to have a table when I get there.More
