I always use the Bax Castle for a lunch stop on the Downs Link bike trail. A perfect combination of food, drinks and a good sized garden. The staff are always welcome and the food tastes good. Highly recommended.

We went to this pub last Sunday for lunch. The food was fine, not great, but the real bonus on this pub is the play area for the children, we had 2 with us and after our meal we sat at a table outside and...More
