The pub itself if pleasant enough and the beers were varied and well kept. The rest was well, average, it was okay but I'd be hard pressed to bestow any kind of accolade on the staff or the food. The menu is fairly limited but what we had was okay, which is about the most I can say. I'd be... More

After dropping off a vehicle in a nearby industrial estate, I had to wait a while to be picked up and so, walking into the town of Partridge Green, I found the Partridge on the corner, inviting me in with a clear and clean outside. Entering in, it is SO nice to find a traditional public house and not one... More

We have visited this pub for Sunday lunch which was lovely, excellent Roast Beef , games of pool and last Thursday evening for the quiz night which is great fun. The staff are friendly and there is an excellent choice of wines and local beers.

Had a cycling club Xmas party there in 2015. Food was good, staff accommodating and a well-equipped function room for an awards evening. The highlight is of course the Dark Star beer which is impeccable. Being the brewery tap, the whole range is on offer.

Came in this pub which has a nice interior and seating area. There were only 3 tables that had people sitting at. We didn't book but the staff were kind enough to find us a table. The food came within 15 mins and was well presented. The burger was pink inside and wasn't cooked. They took it back and it... More

The pub is stylishly decorated in an informal manner, spacious and comfortable. We visited for the excellent Dark Star beers which definitely didn't disappoint. Neither did the Fish and chips which were some of the best we've had. The staff were friendly and helpful. The menu is limited but we view that as a good thing, this is not trying... More

The inside is a lot larger than what you would expect and nicely decorated, a pleasant garden out the back with play area which had the sun on it all day, could do with some more umbrellas as we did get quite hot. Drinks and food good, ample parking outside. Would visit again.

We were just driving past, spotted the garden and decided to stop for lunch, so glad we did. To me, it's the little things that count. Yes the menu is smaller than some, but I'd much rather have VERY tasty food from a limited menu (there is something for veggies/carnivores) than a fast packed, deep fried, 'ping' menu. Picking up...
