About
The George & Dragon Pub is a 17th century country free house pub in the hamlet of Dragons Green, set in the beautiful Sussex countryside. The pub is child-friendly and dog-friendly. It has a large secluded garden with a play area for children in the Summer months, and a roaring inglenook fire roaring in the Winter months. We serve a range of real ales, lagers and wines. Our food is locally sourced and freshly cooked. We have two quirky king size bed & breakfast rooms in a converted stable. In May 2015 Jon Ewers and Simon Corby took over the management of the pub.

This pub is so tiny that in current Covid situation you may have to sit outside, but that’s an experience in itself. We sat in a lovely material draped open sided shelter, big enough for several tables and sofas and with heat lamps and blankets...More

We had booked a table the night before, so despite the cloudburst, we had to venture out to the George and Dragon for a post-lockdown lunch. It turned out to be well worth the drive and braving the elements. The friendly waitresses directed us to...More

Well, what a disappointing visit that was. From the plastic glasses to the cardboard plates and child size wooden knives and forks, it just ruins the dining experience. You're asked to download their app on arrival to order drinks but the food order is taken...More
