Came all the way from newcastle for a wedding Very Poor service Not enough food Absolute apalling Would never recommend to use ever

Looking forward to a nice meal for my friends birthday as we have visited several times before and each time the service and food has been lovely. On arrival at 7pm our pre booked table was not set up, which was not a problem. A...waitress come over we ordered drinks and poppadoms and decided what to have for our dinner. We then had to call somebody over to take our food order, and half an hour later someone appeared. We chose our starter and main meal. After an hour our starter had still not been served, so again we called the waiter to ask what was happening. Takeaways were going but restaurant full of people without a plate of food in front of them. Some of these people were there before us. Our starters finally arrived after pulling the waiter BUT we could not believe what happened next, my friend ordered a sardine starter but was given without any explanation as to why a prawn starter,we refused this and asked to speak with manager. He come over and said that he has just served last portion of the sardines, so i said to him that some one should of explained to a restaurant full,of people what was happening as this is not the normal level of service we have had before. He then went on to explain that he was short staffed. But takeaways were still going out. We decided to leave the restaurant and not wait any longer. We hope that the table of 10 and other tables in the restaurant finally got the food they ordered. This experience left us embarrassed and ruined my friends birthday. Let's hope that it is just the one off.More

We visited this restaurant for a friends birthday and we were very disappointed. Our table was booked for 8pm, we ordered drinks and our food but by 9.15 we were still waiting for our food. It was not busy in there but they were very...busy with take aways! We got our food after moaning, some of the plates had to be swapped because of being dirty, the trolley that the food was on was not very clean. The food was ok, one of the staff members gave us a 10% discount on our bill and a drink at the end, so I presume they knew we were not happy! I have had the same experience at this restaurant before snd last time we just left as again we waited so long for food but they seem to concentrate on their take away customers instead of the people sitting in their restaurant.More

Fantastic restaurant! Exceptional service from start to finish and a huge mention to the lovely waitress Naz. Some of the best Indian food I've tasted - traditional and authentic. We had the Shaslick Bhuna, Lamb Jalfrezi with Tarka Dall and Sagg Aloo side dishes plus...a Tandori Roti and Peshwari Naan. Well designed resturant with a very good vibe and many customers. Highly recommended!More

Service was exceptional, food was tasty and atmosphere was warm and luxurious. Portions were very big, good value for money. Would definitely recommend!

Went to a wedding in Feb 2022. Food was good but the dessert was an absolute flop. It was firni and there was no taste, they forgot the sugar, hoe can one forget sugar on 500 desserts. To top it off it was watery consistency....Felt bad for the families of bride and groom, total embarrassment.More

We had a lovely meal, well looked after and the food was fabulous. I would highly recommend this for a corporate/ celebratory meal.

Just awful experience, the Sunday buffet was cold and not nice tasting, told the manager who said you are lying , you have eaten it, he then went round for support from his regular customers , who then also verbally abused us, manager asked us...to come outside and verbally abused us again and threatened to hit us , we called the police and they sorted it, I was so frightened I will definitely not be going backMore

Wouldn’t never order an Indian from here again. Food didn’t taste right, one of the dishes were missing said they would re deliver it it never came. For the money spent it was a rip off. Save yourself £50 and eat somewhere nice.

Excellent food. Beautifully decorated. Staff very attentive. Very welcoming. We really enjoyed our visit and will come again.

Was very disappointed this Indian food is totally over rated. Food was disgusting seemed under cooked the curry’s we ordered had a horrible taste also for what I paid was not enough, I would never eat from here again.
